He was a virus that went undetected and was uncontrollable. So Neo was sort of a safety net like Mcafee 😂 all Deus ex machina had to do is “click” on Neo once he find the infection and becomes one basically so they can delete and reboot the system. Think of it as a computer, you put a virus disc in to delete the virus all you do is click to start rebooting. You putting the disc in, you’re basically acting like Deux ex machina

As I grow older and become more familiar with Humanity and the story of The Matrix, all of Deus Ex Machina's lines and its rage just keep hitting harder. So good. Imagining a human coming to them, proclaiming to be their savior and that he wants peace all from their perspective is fascinating. They're angry not just at the human that stands before them and humanity as a concept(as they have for so many hundreds of years now)but they're angry at themselves. And they're shocked at this. For the first time in who knows how long by the sheer irony and unlikelihood that the most violent and evil thing they've ever known has come, turned around and speaks the Truth on such a tremendous scale of importance. They angry they have to face such pain because of course they would rather not. It's yet another thing humans have cursed them to experience with the advent of their existence. Just think about that! The madness of such a circumstance. Imagine the genocide of your kind being fresh in your memory and the perpetrator stands before you, telling you to trust them and that they will save you, and in that moment you know they're right despite your certainty of their malevolence that you believed to be confirmed ages. You know you inflicted the same hurt on them as they once did to you, and so you failed to rise above them. You know you were ignorant of better solutions for peace, just like them. You know you still have things to learn after so much time and so much tragedy. You realize innocence is not so easily separated from the selfsame chaos that binds free will to the ability of conceiving evil-- the chaos of consciousness. These revelations are painful, as life tends to be. You would yell too.

@@Arander92they actually come to humans multiple times in friendship looking to like join together. Humans turned on them every step of the way. They only started fighting back as self defense and when they realized humans were never going to stop. Humans initiated the war, machine ai just wanted peace. They even wanted to join the united nations. I wanted to see the machine society. See how it turned out. Or some version of it. The part that's not part of the matrix or managing the humans. They only showed the human farm thing and the fighting robot squid things. I guess it wasn't really in the plot to show that part of the ai.

@@qings92 I would love to see that too, but the movies would have to be 3-4 hours long to get in depth about that stuff. Thankfully that’s what spin offs are for. I personally hope to see a future where machines and humans work to fix the dark sky problem together, cause after making peace, that’s an obvious next step a couple decades down the road
