Cold tyres or suspension settings? Nice vid! Keep them coming!
@philmkarting9 күн бұрын
It wasn't cold tyres as although it was the first session of the day, it happened on lap 15 and A052 tyres give great grip really quick. The suspension is standard, so non adjustable. The tyres were very worn (basically slicks), but I think I just gave it too much throttle with quite a bit of lock on and didn't give it enough opposite lock to counter the oversteer. I'm back up at Anglesey next week, so I'll try a bit harder this time 😜

How do you get the .CSV from Alfano6? Do you use the charging/data cable from your Alfano6 into your laptop and grab the .CSV from desktop ADA? Not sure if I need to invest money into the data/charger or just the charger to get this to work. Currently happily viewing the data on my phone but this would entice me to spend more to get the data/charging cable.
@philmkartingАй бұрын
I use the Android app. Click the session you want to export in the app, then click the symbol between the cross and the star, it looks a bit like an arrow. It will save a zip file with each lap from that session within it as a .csv files

As long as you can extract the data as .gpx or .csv, you should be able to import and overlay it in Dashware

You need to import your video and data from your lap timer/data logger, sync the two, then select the gauges you want to display and link them to the data.

Overlay is looking great. Would it be possible for you to make a tutorial on especially how to calculate throttle and brake position from longitudinal figures using Alfano. I don't get it, sorry.
@philmkarting6 ай бұрын
I tried to write some notes on how to do it a few months ago, but it became quite complicated to explain, so I left it. For the throttle and brake, there is an existing gauge in Dashware for this, you just need to tell it what data to display and what the min and max is for each. The data you want to use for both throttle and brake bars is g force Y axis (longitudinal/braking/acceleration g). For throttle set the animated bar to min -0.2 and max 0.1, and for brake min -0.3 and max -0.6. So a longitudinal g of 0.1g will show full throttle and -0.6g will show full brake. In between these values will show part throttle/brake.
