Did you also use E6000 on gluing the fringes together?

Yes, what type of glue and how many of those "Voldemort" crystals did you end up using to cover that dress? Did you mix them with other cheaper ones for a more sparkly effect??

I wish you had a full video with words and explanations. For example, what kind of sewing machine foot you’re using, how you’re folding over the fabric, type of thread, etc. Thanks!

Great suggestion! I used a narrow roll hem foot. zig zag stitch set at 5 for the width and 1.5 for the length. 100% polyester thread (Guterman)

I LOVE how the fringe came out with this! May i ask how glued the strands together? I'm currently giving this a try and just "dunked" the first couple strips into the glue, but am worried it won't stick together very tight.

Thank you for sharing your fringe application process! I'm looking to recreate (a cheaper looking version of) Taylor Swift's 2014 VMA's Shake it Off performance fringe set and haven't been sure about how to apply the fringe to get that seamless, layered look. Will be using this video as I DIY! Thank you!

What tool did you use to pick up Rhinestones? Did you use E-6000 for ends of fringe and did you do it on a plastic? Beautiful dress. Thanks for sharing all.

Hi! I used a wooden skewer (broke it into a smaller piece) and mounting putty. Mounting putty is great because it is tacky enough to pick up the rhinestones. I use enough to make a little ball to stick onto the skewer so I can pick up multiple rhinestones at a time. Yes, I used E-6000 for the fringe. I lay a piece of plastic on the table to set the fringe on as it is drying. Thank you Sharon!

@@Letsmakedancecostumes Thank you for your reply. Maybe you could do a video on the tool and how you glue the fringe. Is the fringe dipped in glue? Or lay fringe down on plastic and glue applied? When you pick up Rhinestones to you pick them up with crystal side up on flat side? I am visual and would love to see these applications.....
