In Their heyday, they were top of the rock. Caught them in 78, Columbia SC. As live performers, and minus the over-the-top special effects, this group could is among the best and the fact they're not in the Rock and Roll HOF, is a testimony to the short-sighted, racial indifference to the invaluable musical legacy made by African Americans in this country.
