@Mobilant_US2 күн бұрын
This was built for the purpose of building a dual drive 2000 watt sample E-BIKE. A was built with some margin. This is because the front fork dropouts are more likely to break.

How about bafang motor? Pls rep me !
@Mobilant_US2 күн бұрын
To be honest, I like to ride comfortably without pedaling load, so I like the Bafang motor better. Unfortunately, this motor was given to a friend as a gift, and when I put a lot of load on it in the mountains, it started making a bad noise. The motor in the video is a good motor if you ride less than 35 km/h with pedaling as the main focus.
@kayson9712 күн бұрын
The idea sounds amazing, but the video needs to show more of that bike actually working
@jonslg240Күн бұрын
Yep.. and also some grease because that's got lots of friction losses lol But if such a system actually gave you more power they'd be using it Clips (clip less clips nowadays) also let you pull with your legs, too, not just push.. letting you use muscles you don't normally use when riding without them, which spreads out the burden across more muscles

on my e bike the hall sensor connector is the one with six pins side by side while the controller is like the one in the video. Is there an adaptor for this or do i have to solder? The bike works without the hall sensor plugged in but the speedometer doesn't work
@Mobilant_US2 күн бұрын
The speed display will not work unless the hall sensor connector is connected. The rpm is measured as the hall sensor turns on and off.

Hi, my name is Sam. I recently purchased electric bicycle 60 volt 1500 watt motor, 26 inch fat tire. My first right didn't go so well after riding for 5 miles when I stopt the bicycle starts moving on its own Without me touching throttle. I was losing also pedal assistant when I was driving. There is no sensors for Pedal assistant it works different way. The bicycle was also increasing speed without me controlling speed I didn't touch the throttle and I wasn't pedaling. Since the owners of the company are located in Chicago, they picked the bicycle after I report the problem. But they are telling me that they cannot find any issue with the bicycle. I present them three different videos with the problem. After I did my research including watching your video I realize that controller is responsible for all the problems that I was having with the bicycle riding for the first time. Any tots, what could possibly happen or what is happening? Thank you. Sam
@Mobilant_US6 күн бұрын
The structure of an electric bicycle is simple, and cases of it moving on its own have not been reported. The speed is controlled by a variable voltage of 0~5V. If the bike is moving on its own, it is likely due to a short circuit somewhere. I suspect there might be damage to the throttle wires. Since you have submitted video evidence, it would be best to request a replacement for the controller, throttle, or throttle wiring. Best regards, Dr. Road

We found the problem after changing controller and the throttle driving for a while. The problem did come back after that. We changed the harness. It was shortage in the wires that connects everything. The bicycle is fine. Thank you so much.

When you change the hall sensors it's also good time to change the bearing. Next time use puller. Save your finger you are lucky the magnet didn't cut you fingers or at least break it. After you disconnect the old hall you should check the old cable it is working properly. That whats you douing hire it DANGER Also you should resoldering the new hall cable. before you close the last cover to close the engine add silicone to get waterproof.
I would have used smaller heat shrink instead of electrical tape, especially on a nice build like this and on such critical components. That is bound to fail down the road and result in a never ending pain in the ass chasing down the fault.

at first the motor was very stiff on pedal assist and stop frequently so i decided to clean and grease it but no effect. also, when i thottle and release it the speed continue until i press break and currently it's showing error 30.
@Mobilant_US13 күн бұрын
Error code 30 indicates a damaged controller if the connector is not connected properly. If there is no physical noise, it is recommended to detach and replace the controller.
@Mobilant_US13 күн бұрын
If you smell something burning when you open the controller cover, it is very likely that the motor coils have turned black due to water or overload. Parts can be easily purchased from AliExpress.

I have a similar vacuum. Just replaced the cells in mine. I used Sony VTC5a cells. Higher capacity and discharge current to the original LGDAHB3 cells. I soldered the wires to nickel strips first and then spot welded to the cells. Prevents heat from soldering potentially damaging the cells.
@Mobilant_US17 күн бұрын
Yes, that is a better method. The method I used is also good because the heat conduction rate is not fast. It is the method I used when building several electric bikes. No damaged cells were found.
