I have nails stuck horizontal in the rail. How do I get to them? I have Model FN250SB

Yesterday I repaired the same saw (M18 FSX) that I bought for $1. The machine was dead and the diode did not light up when I connected the battery. I didn't believe that the light emitting diode had anything to do with the operation of the machine? The red wire from the LED was broken, and the white one had damaged insulation. I fixed the problem and the saw works like new. Maybe someone else has similar malfunction symptoms and maybe my experience will help someone? Greetings from Switzerland

On amazon the 779 is $138 chesper than the 780. Cost is not 110 plus $15 dollar shipping. Sounds like it was a great deal.a few years ago now not so much

So I’ve heard people complain about the plastic gears that raise and lower the blade. They say that the gears wear out prematurely and leave the blade stuck. Now I want to buy the Bosch 4100 because because I like the way it works and it has a small footprint. The other two I’m considering is the Dewalt, and the Skilsaw,but I like the Bosch much better. What are your thoughts on the plastic gears? I’m not going to be on a jobsite daily so the saw won’t be taking a beating. I believe it’s my best choice, and would appreciate your advice. Thank you so much for your time, and please help me make up my mind. Richard

Just installed my light kit, awesome fit, easy assembly! Thankyou for fixing the single issue I had with my saw! 👍

Just finished installing the kit. I was surprised how quickly and smoothly it went. The piggyback connector I had to slow down the video a bit, and it was tight enough it took some forcing, but otherwise it went great. I ran a few test cuts and it makes a massive difference. I’ve been using my miter saw for 8 years and am now actually looking forward to using it. This combined with Shop Nation’s dust collection chute replacement completely changes the saw.

Okay I have a 20 volt Max XR DCS 570 when you pull the trigger the light comes on and it runs for a second and stops and then sometimes it won't run at all move the blade and it'll run any ideas

What a rock on your finger! Hope you don't knock a stone of of the setting while working on these tools. You forgot to show how to get the strain relief on the power cable.

The module is about the sames cost s the tool. I recall it being $235.00. Do you h ave a better source. $235 is a lot of money for a switch.
