The auras smoke spirits aid create are controlled by you so enchanting your opponents creatures mean when they die your opponent takes the damage but you get the treasure. So enchanting your own creatures isn't really what you want to do unless you're going to board wipe and want the extra treasures anyway.

You have only basic lands when you need 7 with different names, that doesnt make much sense

Also a budget option for cryptology rite is insidious roots if you have a untap all creatures effect like extra combats you can get a lot of value out of it

I’m starting work on a deck with Ghired. I’m going to try using him with Midnight Guard. It’s a 2 and White human soldier with “whenever another creature enters the battlefield under your control, untap Midnight Guard.” So I get Ghired out, get Midnight Guard out, got a token creature out, and then use Midnight Guard to create as many copies of that token as I want.

The whirler rogue can be useful to make the ninjas unblockable after you put them with the ninjutsu.

When you say that stolen goods is bad because you need 4 mana for something that gonti does for free, that's not really correct. With gonti, you still need to pay the mana cost, here you might pay 4 mana and get to cast a 6 mana sorcery spell. It might also be a crappy 1 mana instant, but for me keeping the randomness of what you get is part of the fun of this deck. So even if it's not optimal, I keep it for the lols.

Great deck tech :). Was a little surprised at a lack of Night of Soul's Betrayal, but yea this looks like a really interesting style. Always excited for commanders that make cards you wouldn't normally play good.

curious what 9 cards you should replace for the big artifacts

Question on Reshape the Earth and Scute Swarm: Let's say I have some artifacts and tron lands that let me get to 9 mana early, I only have 4 lands out. When Reshape resolves it puts 10 lands into play, now the total is over the 7 for scute swarm, so does this mean all TEN landfall triggers will make a scute swarm copy or will it still see less then 7 for first 3 triggers and then see 10 for the remaining 7?

With Hazel, it depends on how good the squirrel tokens are. Offspring with neat effects would be fun to double. I'll probably play all these commanders, though, just because this plane has my 100 percent hooked.

I would take out Infinite Hourglass. You are also giving opponent's a power boost for their creatures. This is concerning, especially after you already went into combat.

Remember people you don’t need to put the stupid expensive stuff you can choose cheap stuff that also extends your plan (hint rad storm or flare of denial)

Giving your opponents rad counters doesn't help you. Giving yourself some will, but your opponents will mill the cards on their turn and you won't be able to play the cards. I think Tato farmer is really good in this deck, but I don't know about the other two.

I just got back in to magic and saw a few Sauron decks I wanted to do, I started getting trigger happy on sites putting cards into carts not realizing almost frikin half of them are in the commander 😵‍💫
