What about Shoulder Distocia? Or other neonatal difficulties, can you all help with those types of births? Also, how are the fetal heart and contractions monitored during labor at home?

This was uploaded two days after I gave birth in a birthing centre in Germany and it was a dream birth! :) I am currently pregnant with Baby number 2 and I am planning on a home birth! If avoidable I am never going into a hospital for birthing :)

They don’t induce. If induction is needed you would be in the hospital not home.

Bullying happens at every level of healthcare, including how midwives treat each other. I hope one day things will be rentrer than it is today, especially for BIPOC.

"BIPOC" = Nonwhite Nonwhites are the only ones with protection from discrimination, it's written right into their antiwhite "human rights" policies and the association of Ontario midwives references antiwhite slurs like "colonizer" and openly boast about "decolonized newborn care" on their website. "Decolonized" = get rid of White people. If you're White and you are victimized by an antiwhite midwife or you complain about discrimination they will dismiss your concerns as "reverse racism" (which is antiwhitism) and threaten to end your care as a bully tactic to silence you out of bringing up your concerns in clinic. True story.

I would really like a home birth but I have yet to get a midwife based where I am. I am 11 weeks and still on a waiting list for Thames Valley Midwives :(

Some communities do have long waiting lists for midwives. Try reaching out to other practice groups in your area - it is OK to be on several waiting lists at once and to mention you are interested in a home birth. Two other midwifery practices in the London area are: Womancare Midwives midwives.on.ca/ and Midwives of Middlesex and Area www.momamidwives.ca
