The eras mode would be great but unfortunately probably impossible just on the shear amount of more players football have at a current time than nba do.

personal theory but, i think they are developing and updating nba2k for content creators. prices in MyTeam are ridiculous because of people like Troydan; spending thousands on a single stream only for views. mycareer is bland because content creators use that campaign as a base for their own storylines ie; Chris Smoove, hoodieShawnn, etc. Every creator does MyPark content....you get the point.
@jordanmcdow4052 күн бұрын
yeah i could agree, as long as myteam youtubers spend 24k like troydan has they arent going to fix the game . And how long it takes to get to 99 without spending money whitout good teammates is insane,

If a frog had wings, he wouldn't bump his ass when he hopped. The NBA revised or instituted 4 rules to stop Wilt Chamberlain from dominating the NBA. Today, the NBA changes rules to allow players to score and dominate. Wilt still has 68 individual records, 40 years after he retired. He was responsible for the offensive goal tending rule being added to keep his scoring in check and reduce his dominance around the basket. They widened the lane to move him farther from the basket. The revised the inbounding rules because of him. And they revised the free throw rules because Wilt would start just outside the top of the circle, take two or three running steps, launch himself at the foul line and dunk the ball without touching the floor. When any of these guys, great in their own right, can influence as many direct rule changes in order to nullify their advantage or explain why they haven't broken all Wilt's records, then you can list them as the top 5 most influential to the NBA. Oh, one more thing, Wilt averaged 50 points per game in a season. He averaged over 48 minutes per game playing time. Even Jordan admits that would not be possible for todays players. He had 55 rebounds in one game. And, he would have the records for most career blocked shots but they did not keep that datum then. Let's turn the argument around since you play the "if" game. I maintain that if any of these players were born in Wilts time without the benefit of the training knowlege and techniques, medical knowledge and procedures, and possibly some non-medicinal drugs that exist today, Wilt would have dominated them too. Conversely, if Wilt had been born in their era, he would have had all the benefits they have enjoyed and he would have dominated just like he did in his own era. But, opinoons are like a certain body orifice. We all have one.

I want to add nicoli chawchisco to the bunch from Romania and Alberto Quanterino from Cuba , both had great careers equivelant to a hall fame in Basketball even though they didn’t play basketball all their career since one was a dictator and the other is a runner who is the only double gold medalist in both 400 and 800m in the same Olympic and didn’t watch basketball since he had no TV growing up

He was not 6 ft 9 and slow. He was 6ft10 or 6ft10 1/2 and moved on the basketball court like a shooting guard. In fact he sometimes played shooting guard although he was a power forward for the first 5 years plus of his career
