The series title is pronounced as एकम्. Karavali (करावली) refers to the coastal region of Karnataka including Tulunadu. Hence the series is multi-lingual. Kannada for the Northern half of the coast, Tulu for the Southern half and because of Kasargodu (traditionally part of Tulunadu and now part of the present state of Kerala) Malayalam as well.

The dialogs are in tulu, malayalam and Kannada

Regarding the cameos, ashwin said it's his tribute to the masters of Telugu cinema, ramgopaal varma and rajamouli. He added there will be less cameos in part 2,with more focus on prabhas and kamal hasan show.

This is a Telugu movie and has many meta reference to Telugu culture. The opening fight of prabhas has the background score of the rendition of Bhagavadgita by the legendary Singer Ghantasala master! The ending sequence has kamal hasan reciting the great poetry of legendary Telugu poet laureate Sri Sri from his long poem, Mahaprasthanam.

On the Prabhas's physical comedy part: It worked pretty well in Telugu and i can understand it didnt land well in Hindi due to dubbing issues.

Off topic --> GATE is not harder than JEE, JEE is much much much harder than GATE, JEE Advanced is ranked as 2nd hardest exam in the world whereas GATE isn't even in top 10, even JAM (MSc from IITs) is harder than GATE (and I am not talking about Indian ranking but world rankings). I have seen people get top 100 ranks in GATE in 3 months without coaching. I am from IIT Bombay and my brother is from NIT-K a mid ranked NIT, he destroyed GATE with just books in 2 months but could not make it into 35000 rank in JEE Adv.
