In general, the TI units are faster in response to inputs. The big ticket item though is maps. If you install a mapping card such as Navionics or the free C-Map Genesis which has a lot of map detail, then moving around the map with the cursor or when running down the lake can lag significantly on the Hook units, but is seamless with the TI units.

It definitely resets everything and I finally got all the information that was on my SD card imported back which very very important that you didn't cover how to save that information. However my problem was the touch screen totally quit working and it didn't change that so I guess I'll call the ranch tomorrow

hello what about the file extension to get it to GPX format.lowrance uses usr file extension, but to get it into google earth needs to be gpu.can that be done on the lowrance units first before exporting the waypoints? thanks john

If I'm importing to a unit that already has data, will it overwrite data? For example both units have WPT 001 (obviously with diff coordinates) - will it store two WPT001's or will one of them be overwritten?

Can you import waypoints and tracks off a Humminbird to a Lowrance.
