How do you pair these?
@TJCMN
@TJCMN Ай бұрын
Thanks for commenting and sorry for the delayed response -it depends on the device, but I assume you're trying to pair these earbuds to your phone whether it be iPhone or Android (correct me if I'm mistaken here). In either case this means you will need to visit the "Settings" app and then navigate to the particular section that has the controls for connectivity, in particular there should be an area for "Bluetooth." Turn the earbuds on (if you take them out of the portable charging case, they will by default be turned on thereafter unless left idle in which they will eventually turn off after a period of time without being paired and/or proactively used) and make sure that they aren't connected to anything else in case you or someone else already synced them prior. Provided they are not hooked up to anything else already, they should appear under the "available devices" area and their default name is "T08" (which at your own discretion you can alter and customize if you'd like to rename them). Proceed to tap on the aforementioned T08 and BOOM! You should be good to go and the headphones have a generic, female voice integrated into their setup which should go from saying "Pairing!" to "Connected!" Hopefully that clarifies things since I know if you're going from a wired to wireless headset it can be quite the upgrade of sorts and generally other true wireless earbuds should have a similar sort of setup process. Let me know if that worked. With any luck it did and now you're set to hear the audio as I do from mine. Enjoy!

The actual unboxing begins at 7:20 (in the time prior on the video I provide additional context, a comprehensive overview of the product, and also some of my own particular musings when it comes to Apple and how it prices / designs its products) in case you want to skip the intro as well as overview and cut right to the chase when I get directly into the unboxing. Thanks in advance for tuning in and let me know what you all think and if you have additional recommendations for content related to this or other recent gear I picked up. Much appreciated and more content is coming VERY soon! -Tom

Thanks for taking the time to comment. That's a good question. I am going to have a first impressions video and also a subsequent review coming down the pipeline soon (apologies for the delay, been a little busy) and I can tell you from my own personal experience as well as my wife's who I got this mainly for her to use that the difference between this and the 11" model of either this current (6th) generation and previous 11" iPad Air models is nothing short of significant in terms of the form factor. It's bene a pleasant surprise that although it isn't lighter than the current version of the iPad Pro (which personally, has me still confused since originally I thought Apple's "Air" products whether it be the iPad or MacBook were supposed to be the lightest versions in terms of their weight vs. their other concurrent counterparts, go figure) it still is light enough to comfortable hold whether you're sitting upwards in a chair, laying or propped up against couch or bed, and/or standing or leaning against a wall(depending on where and how you'll be using it). Specifically regarding the iPad, I could certainly see Apple including in a future refresh of this product lineup a third, 15" option for the iPad Air and the iPad Pro. It would require them to also create another Magic Keyboard model specifically to be compatible as an accessory with that new size option. Maybe... But now that I am thinking about it as I type this out, since many people have been seeking a touch screen version of the MacBook whether it be an Air or Pro -maybe they'll sooner release the latter prior to the former because at least from my vantage point, this new 13" iPad Air is decently-sized and provides plenty of space in its own right especially compared one-to-one with the 11" model. I guess we'll have to wait and see since this is all conjecture, but it doesn't hurt to speculate considering how popular content is on various potential tech product rumors, especially Apple's. I am old enough to still remember and have on this channel videos from back when people were trying to guess what the iPad would be officially named, when some thought it would be branded as the "iSlate." Your guess is as good as mine and thanks again for helping me brainstorm a bit, ha ha.

Apologies for the delayed response -thank you btw for taking the time to comment and I appreciate you providing your particular insight when it comes to this awesome new product since I have not as of yet (but will in the very near-future, I promise!) been able to release my first impressions video on the iPad Air (it's finished in terms of being filmed, but still needs to be edited and uploaded). I'm also am about to record and begin working on my comprehensive review later this very week, the silver-lining here is at least I have had enough time to use the device (in contrast to some who literally posted a review the same day they got the device in the mail, which is all well and good for getting clicks but I personally think it takes a relatively decent period of time and thought to provide a real, meaningful review and not just more content just for the sake of attracting eyeballs, at least if it is at the expense of cutting-corners or not diving deep into the various pros as well as cons of the product, especially when it comes to a major purchase like this) and will be providing a truly thoughtful review (at least to the best of my capacity). As someone who also has in the past sold various game consoles and personal computers that I had overtime ceased using as daily drivers (I built a custom gaming PC way back in 2014 and I'd be lying if I didn't say that I sometimes regret selling it) , but in spite of the occasional seller's remorse (I think that's what it is, in lack of a better way of describing it), it's better to prioritize one main daily driver and at least for me in my experience doing so has genuinely helped me maximize my productivity and prevented me from having even more unnecessary, seldom used gear that just takes up space and collects dust. Different strokes for different blokes, I suppose. But I digress --I'd love to hear (that is provided when and if you have the time sometime in the future) what your take is so far using it as your go-to device of choice when it comes to getting all of the things you need to done. Btw, on a brief side note: I'd recommend if you do end up sticking with it (and want to maximize your productivity and user-experience with it for the long-haul) getting the new Apple Pencil Pro and the compatible Magic Keyboard as well as a suitable case and screen protector (we're going to be getting all of these and I will have respective videos out covering each accessory sometime very soon, as well). Much appreciated for providing your previous feedback, nonetheless, and best of luck with your new iPad Air. I've been digging it so far and am looking forward to releasing more content as mentioned sometime in the near-future!

left this as an off-hand comment, but thought about all the stuff over those 12 or 13 years in my life -- graduated high school and college, moved across the country twice, worked at a lot of crazy companies, all the relationships, a pandemic... time flies. Hope all is well over there.

@@Prounounced I am almost positive (correct me if I'm wrong) I had you on my old personal Facebook account and we recently followed each other on Instagram (maybe not too recently, but relatively not that long ago). Don't want to dox you, obviously, but if I am not mistaken message me on the latter since I don't use the former anymore at the moment. Regardless, I really appreciate both of your responses and wanted to let you know it made my night yesterday so much that I even showed my wife (I recently got married to the love of my life who I met a couple of years after moving across the country myself all the way back in 2017 and we just relocated to my hometown for a bit so I could catch up and help out my folks but might eventually migrate again like you did as circumstances change and things take their course). Thank you for taking the time to comment not once, but twice and bothering to remember me since I'm nowhere near as relevant as I was even all the way back when you first subscribed and even then I was never a big shot and am a relatively small fish in a gigantic pond in terms of KZfaq creators. It really means a lot and I wouldn't trade your viewership or that of a few other old-timers from back when this channel was called "SketchTechThomas" who took the time, too, to leave a response on some of my recent uploads for all the money and fame that a website like this could offer in exchange. I've always been a "quality over quantity" type of person in my way of thinking (both have their pros / cons) and usually am as a consequence an all-or-nothing in terms of whatever venture or project I engage in. I regret not having had the time and space to consistently upload and going on what really was a horrendously long hiatus when it comes to publishing content since it really was people like you who made my original escapades on here the rewarding experience it was. I am about to get one of the new iPads tomorrow for my wife and also have a pretty significant sized backlog of content that I am gradually making my way into posting. Not to mention the unedited footage I have compiled when I lived in Florida and traveled across the country between 2015 - 2023 that I am still in the process of putting together into multiple segments that will (eventually and hopefully within the not-too-distant-future) roll out on this channel in the times ahead. My long-term goal is to figure out how to do this and also a podcast as well as a newsletter (that are of a different genre of content and still are being worked out) as a full-time thing but in between I plan on not completely vanishing again and putting out as much material as my limited availability affords me to. Altogether I got a lot planned down the pipeline and it's really due to you and other people like you who took the time from way back when to now to tune in that both motivates as well as inspires me to not quit cold turkey and I really look forward to doing so and along the way continuing to interact with everybody who takes the time out of their day to send feedback, whether completely positive or of a more critical nature. Time really does fly and it's something that bittersweet but at least for me convinces me to not taking anything in life for granted and to appreciate as well as make the most of things while we still can, despite whatever else is happening in this crazy world that we all reside in. Sorry for the huge wall of text, I wanted to express my sincere gratitude especially since nowadays compared to 13 years ago the YT Creators space has transformed quite a bit (for better and for worse) and it really did put a smile on my face to see and know there's people out here that cared enough to comment after all this time from back when I was originally a young, clueless kid shooting from the hip and making videos starting in middle school. Hope all is well with you, as well, and if you are who I think you might be (again, sorry if I got it wrong but I always try to make an effort to remember and value those who have come here and especially those who stuck around as long as you have) feel free to shoot me a message on Instagram and we can touch base. Cheers and have a great rest of your day! -Tom

It was pretty solid, too bad from the places I've frequented as of recent this particular flavor is not as common since I really do dig deep dish pizzas. Frozen pizza is obviously not as a good as a fresh pie from Chicago, the historic home of deep dish but it's definitely still better than the equivalent thin-crust (at least imo) or having no pizza options at all!

Yo, John! I've been far too busy and I heard from a mutual that something happened regarding a similar issue my father is facing. For the sake of privacy and not (hopefully) doxxing either of us --if you use nstagram follow me there and HMU. I'll do likewise in between juggling a bunch, including try to get to my long overdue content backlog on here and also doing a bunch of other things. Thank you for commenting and checking out this video. I really appreciate it and owe you one for STE. As circumstances continue to gradually improve in terms of my capacity for leisure time and I get financially in a more solidified state (it really is chaotic out there as I'm sure you know, bro) we should link up again either in Florida or somewhere else that's mutually amicable. I'm so glad we got to meet IRL back in 2017, even though it was all too brief and I'm looking forward to catching up as well as eventually crossing paths with you again. I still have you included in my "recommended channels" section on this YT and will keep you there since you're an OG (I still fondly look back to the Christmas of 2009 and when we used to Skype daily and we both were able to get the "other channels" box back when there was that crazy Firefox inspect element glitch, which I am sure you can also remember with a similar degree of enthusiasm). Best of luck in the meantime with your ongoing ventures and I promise, I'll do my best to not disappear as I am planning on trying to maintain and eventually build upon a base level of frequency in regards to regular video uploads and content publishing in general. I just wished I had more time and have been swamped to say the least, especially post-COVID. Stay safe and have a good rest of the weekend!

Hey, man. Hope you've been doing well over all these years and apologies for the overextended hiatus! Believe it or not, I still remember you and also the (way better) room tour you did on your side channel in response to my own. It really meant a lot then and now I finally have the chance to not only offer my sincere appreciation, but do so in a much more articulated capacity. Thank you so much for your support back then and staying subscribed long enough to comment on one of what I PROMISE is to be plenty more of these types of videos coming down the pipeline relatively soon! Many people especially those nowadays who are much higher up on the totem pole of social media than myself take the audience(s) they establish over time for granted (among other things, I guess it's just human nature, ha ha). It truly means a lot and I wouldn't be typing all this if I didn't want to express how comments like yours (which you took time out of your busy day to make) are why I am looking forward to being increasingly more active. In the meantime stay safe and I hope nothing but the best for you in your own respective ventures. Cheers!

@@bender844 Your most two recent comment did likewise and I apologize in advance for not being able to get back to your follow up sooner. It's been over a year according to KZfaq, but nonetheless, I appreciate the sentiment and the time you took to send feedback. I know the bar has been set pretty low for what an audience expects in terms of the most popular creators on here (and social media in general), there are some that incredibly prolific (for better and for ill, depending on the particular person and the content they produce) and were still in diapers or might have not existed back when I started this channel in 2009 when it was still "SketchTechThomas." Although I, myself, can't singlehandedly or any meaningful sense hope to change the standards as they exist for public discourse and the expected responsibilities (or lack thereof in many cases) that the biggest creators (I specifically refuse to consider myself an "influencer," not due to whatever influence or lack of it as of recent I have had, but because I'm old enough unlike Gen Z to not subscribe to the idea that someone should be worshipped or considered an authority simply due to some arbitrary level of fame or wealth they achieved through KZfaq (more power to them if they find success and meaning, but it's good to remember that everyone started with a blank channel and zero subscribers). Without viewers like you, the top dogs back then and now would be nothing as far as whatever presence and the benefits it affords them are currently enjoying. Things are the way they are (no duh, I suppose, lol) but as long as I can find the spare time, I will attempt to run my KZfaq and other content publishing ventures in a way where nothing is taken for granted and that includes remembering as well appreciating the interactions I get to have with awesome people like you and so many others. We're all on our respective paths but it's good to remember that at one point we all were just figuring out the basics and the older I get the more I realize how much more I have to learn but as I do I will make the effort to continue releasing content from my overdue backlog, but also work on fresh, original material like the unboxing of the new iPad Air I just did and also as I scale things and am afforded more leisure time --additional miscellaneous content both that I am brainstorming as well as worthwhile recommendations from others (particularly, I'm hoping to regain the setup and space to do live streams in the future but am still configuring when and how so it's still in the pipeline). As long as there's a will, there will be a way for TJCMN. Cliches and all, haha.

I was going down a list of old school KZfaqrs and just thought I'd check up on yours as I remember one of my favourite vids (what I got for Christmas 2010). I will be subscribed and stay tuned. Very grateful to have you back. One thing I will say, definitely do things at the pace you prefer. I find many creators try to overdue the videos and make daily content which gets boring. This should be something for fun and of your enjoyment. Nonetheless, great to see you again!

It's been too long and I'd like to provide my sincere gratitude for not only being a long-time supporter / subscriber, but also the fact that you took the time to comment here. I've been doing alright and will clarify in the near-future since I really have been meaning to come back sooner. I hope you can say the same and I consider myself blessed by the fact that there were people who were urging me to return again and that I finally have been able to make time to do so. It might sound like a cliché but I mean it when I say it's literally people like you who inspired me to come back after all this time. A lot of creators (especially the more established ones) all too often take for granted the audience that they have. Despite not being the hugest fan of some of the changes that have been made on this platform (and social media in general for that matter), I still believe that it's the regular folks such as ourselves that made KZfaq the success story it is. I'm really looking forward to not only uploading a decent-sized backlog of material that I think is worth publishing still, but also actively producing new stuff on top of that. I'll be incorporating feedback / recommendations to what's yet to be made and might be a little rusty for a bit, but I promise I'll do my best to make it worth the wait. With any luck I'll be able to get enough worthwhile content out so in another decade I won't have to regret falling off the grid (again), haha. In the meantime I hope over in your neck of the woods things are good and continue to be so. Your feedback was / is much appreciated!
