It’s a fools errand to automatically assume that JJ Reddick is going to be some huge upgrade and will make them contenders. First of all, coaching doesn’t make a huge difference in the modern NBA unless you have a COTY type guy in there. Secondly JJ has never coached anything besides middle school Rec league, he was also only a decent player. He was a shooter, not some basketball savant. The podcast doesn’t mean crap, he was just drawing plays on a clipboard so what?

Coaching a team that does not have a long-time established pecking order outside of Bron and AD is not easy. BTW weren't the Lakers 2nd or third in holding onto fourth quarter leads and fourth quarter comebacks.

@@tjboxingsports3584it’s actually insane that you casuals think Ham has no idea about the game of basketball yet he was hired very quickly in Milwaukee and had a long career as assistant coach before. Meanwhile, JJ Reddick drinks a couple glasses of wine on LeBrons podcast and draws on a white board, now dude is Greg Popovich 2.0. What about JJs career suggests he is some basketball genius? He was an offensive player, a shooter. He did not facilitate offenses and he was an OK defender for his size. There is absolutely zero proof that JJ knows more about the Xs and Os of basketball than Darvin Hamm who also played in the NBA

We have absolutely no evidence that JJ Reddick will be a better coach than Darvin Ham. What JJ Reddick says and draws up on notebook paper on Lebrons podcast SOUNDS good, but what evidence do we have the Reddick can control a locker room, and more importantly, the egos of Lebron James and Anthony Davis. What happens when JJ Reddick draws up a play, then Lebron huddles with the team and tells them to ignore JJ Reddicks play and run another one? What will JJ Reddick do when Lebron gets in his face and tells Reddick and the team to “give me the ball and get out of my way?” Something tells me that the locker room and player ago side of coaching will be JJ Reddicks downfall.

The Wizards probably promised JV a starting role. That’s the only reason I can see for JV selecting the Wizards over us. We should have offered him a starting role. Just move AD and LeBron back to their natural positions. We can’t start DLo and AR due to the fact that they have similar defensive deficiencies. So we still need a 2 way guard. Keep’em coming Tyler and I’ll keep replying that LeBron has to play the 3 for us to have any chance at being successful.😅

Good news for LA.. according to people from the Blazers side, JG cant be the 3 the Lakers are looking for.. he, for no reason, cant be the primary Defender against wings or a big guard.. against a KD or Kawhy and so on.. the risk here is getting rid of useful players like Rui or, maybe worst, Vando, for a player with the same amount of deficensys.. so, cross fingers for Rui recovery, but, at least, it's safe from dumb trades..
