@TCMSecurityAcademy Hello! I have just hopped onto the cybersecurity/hacking train. I was looking for solutions to the question explained below when i bumped into your KZfaq Channel. I have just finished setting up my virtual machine. I am running kali on vmware. I was running updates for kali when i noticed my antivirus(on the host machine) blocking some downloads and access to certain websites. Do you know how I can Fix this?

Super job explaining and laying out the critical specifics. I already installed KALI VIA USB boot. 2 hrs . into course. I am a Control Systems Lead for factory automation. So I had to learn some networking to use Rockwell Automation software.

Hi! Mike, I do not have an IT background and do not know much about networking and security, though I aspire to become an ethical hacker. I have ended up in the software engineering department and am currently pursuing a software engineering degree as a third-year student. I have a solid background in programming, particularly in Python, and can work as a front-end developer. However, my heart is set on ethical hacking, and I have watched your video on why you shouldn't be an ethical hacker, which led me to decide that ethical hacking fits me well. I want to evolve with the world, but I'm still overwhelmed by the different roadmaps that KZfaqrs are suggesting, and they talk a lot about various certifications that I don't have a clue about. Could you please help me on the way to become a real ethical hacker based on my current situation above? I'm sincerely grateful that you took the time to read my comment, and I'm eagerly awaiting your valuable response. I appreciate you taking the time to consider my situation, and I look forward to hearing your expert guidance on how I can best pursue my goal of becoming an ethical hacker. Your insights would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, I'm currently on the port scanner part at 5:40:57. This is a really good course, but I still get confused about building a port scanner because I need to learn Python scripting really well. That seems like my weakest point. What about you? Where are you at right now?

When you talk about baah, there are essentially two modes: Interactive and scripted. You absolutely have to learn how to use interactive mode. Learn which tools do what and how to get stuff done. When it comes to scripts, try to keep it simple. As soon as you feel like you have to parse data structures or such, you should probably be writing Python.

This is one of the best videos for anyone trying to start ethical hacking. I just have one doubt in the manual buffer overflow, if the vuln server and the immunity debugger both are running on the target system then how to get the EIP value for finding the offset. You just picked it up from the immunity debugger but we wouldnt actually have access to it as its on the target system.

@@TCMSecurityAcademy Before discovering the Cyber Mentor channel, I was overwhelmed by the various roadmaps that many KZfaqrs suggested, most of whom did not have a deep understanding of ethical hacking. They failed to distinguish between ethical analysts and ethical hackers. To my surprise, even channels claiming expertise in cybersecurity did not explain the concepts well. They would make videos on roadmaps, typically lasting around 20 minutes, and discuss certifications without providing a clear explanation of their meaning. However, the exceptional way you have detailed the roadmap, including recommended resources, is truly appreciated. I cannot simply say "thank you" - I must express my sincere gratitude for your priceless advice. Please, keep up the excellent work.

I do recommand ... I started already and , i see that you have a good way of teaching , i felt i am in university , step by step , no lost information , not like other platforms ... they jump between topics and you understand nothing.... And they are same like copy paste ... Note : please discount the certification amount or include it throught the program with monthly payment with live classes ...

idk if it was mentioned BUT cisco offers a LOT of certifications for free through skillsforall (im currently working on the ethical hacking one)
