Why risk? There is no risk, phortse ro panboche will take about 2 to 3 hours and on this trail no tea shops.

What is the difference in kms compared to the traditional ebc route of namche bazar, tengboche, dingboche??? Is it more or less

There is not much difference by distance. Trekking days are the same. Traditional route goes following river and phortse route go high up along the mountains which provide better view and chnace to visit phortse village and upper pangbiche, oldest sherpa settlements.

Runway should be designed like Aircraft carrier for small airports like this. This runway looks like its going to valley while take off & landing. Planes should have parachute to cut it's speed for safe landing. PROBLEM SOLVED.😂

On a positive note this is exactly why as a species we are where we are. Countless men have tordden dangerous path just to know what's beyond. Or just for the sake of it. They have found skeletons of their comrades on the path. And instead of fear..... They feel a sombre calm. And the determination doubles the caution trebles.... But the will to move on exponentially increases. This is why we as a species have literally conquered earth.
