MLK's theological views about the nature of God and Christ doesn't invalidate the legitimacy of a social gospel-- which is really part of THE GOSPEL! This presentation, while well articulated, sounded like a "hit piece" on MLK to bolster Dr. MacArthur's claims that "Martin Luther King was no Christian.' The commandment to: "love one's neighbor and one's enemy IS a part of the Gospel, not only a well defined understanding of systematic theology, hermeneutics and "pure orthodoxy" alone. It was because of the work of King and other civil rights/social justice advocates that Virgil Walker was able to give the presentation he gave. I don't like when black people allow themselves to be used as tools to absolve white supremacy. Let me be clear: "white supremacy" is not the notion that all white people are racist but a belief in the perpetuation of the imbalance of power where black and other minorities are deemed lower caste. I don't revere MLK and certainly would disagree with his theological views concerning Christ, the Resurrection and Hell. Yet, I can certainly contend that he and others like him gave the ultimate sacrifice to make my and Virgil Walker's life better! Further, unless Virgil Walker is willing to do an expose on the theology and morality of Donald Trump, Bob Jones, Jerry Falwell and Falwell Jr, he will appear merely a partisan political hack who is propped-up to espouse right-wing talking points in Christian garb that happens to be black!

The concept of Sobriety in the Bible is often used as proof that we shouldnt smoke marijuana but it confuses me because even if you’re not drunk you’re not sober drinking alcohol and it’s allowed as long as you don’t get drunk. Furthermore alcohol is been proving to be more dangerous than marijuana lethal actually. I say this to ask what is the difference between me strictly controlling how much marijuana I consume and strictly controlling how much alcohol I consume can someone please make this understandable for me please I am really battling with this, because I feel that there is no difference. To even further give insight and my thought process on this topic. Genesis 1:29 confuses me more as well. Also if God didn’t want us to do it at all why wasn’t it ever mentioned even once. The things God doesn’t want us to do he tells us whether it’s clear or through parables instruction is still given. Why would this one be different why when it comes to this (again assuming it is wrong for us to) we are giving no instruction or guidance. Here's part of this problem. I was at a recent Freedom Night hosted by Charlie Kirk, and his guest was George Barna, an expert on "worldview". He made a statement that almost floored me so I want to share it. "Only 1 out of 8 children of PASTORS has a biblical worldview". Chew on that one awhile. His most recent book is called "Raising Spiritual Champions". I also left a church last year where I was also on the worship team, as they "ordained a female pastor", as #2 pastor in the church, and did preach from the pulpit twice while I was there. I walked out both times. I never thought in my lifetime that I'd see that happen in a BIBLE CHURCH!

Maybe Andy should forgive his dad , every child is hurt by their father, even for giving The Lord his 100%. They feel they are absent fathers, and are hurt. Look at Samuel, look at David. Many men of God were so focused on the Lord, children were not receiving the guidance, and attention they needed. Andy is a present day result of this. We need to see Andy as exploding against all he was taught as a rebellion against all his dad stood for. Unfortunately he is dragging so many people into his hell. He is dangerous, but very sad.
