I wasn’t really that furious with the endings but I was definitely disappointed the reason I’m not furious is because there’s an ending where Shepard lives we all know it’s Destroy with at least 7800 war assets and a big thank you to my friend who gave me a heads up to get 7800 assets before finishing the trilogy now by that point I was still in mass effect two and hadn’t started three yet so I was like “what the hell are war assets?” he gave me the rundown that there important and that I need at least 7800 or Shepard is going to fucking die and that I had to also chose a specific ending out of three and I just said “that’s fucking dumb how hard is getting that many war assets going to be?” And let me tell you the journey is filled scanning a shitload of planets, getting chased by reapers, and doing fetch quest but I’m glad I found out prior because it would have sucked having Shepard die because I needed to meet some bullshit requirement and if I didn’t have to get all those war assets and Shepard surviving was as simple as just pick the destroy ending than you can be sure I couldn’t give less of a shit about getting all those war assets. But besides all that it’s ok I’m destroying the reapers that’s what we have set out to do this whole goddamn trilogy so many of my favorite characters have died for us to get to this point I’ve met all the requirements Shepards going live the galaxy is saved! And what..? Edi along with all the reborn geth and the entirety of artificial life are going to die as well..? Great cool so Edi’s and legions sacrifice was for nothing. “FML” But hey at least Shepard is alive so he can retire and have little blue children with Liara and in the off chance that the little shithead star child was right and the cycle will continue because some dumbasses are just gonna create more reapers than it’s whatever that’s going to be millions of year from now Shepard and his crew will be long dead so if some assholes decide to make more reapers than that’s their fucking problem some other poor fuck can assemble there own squad full of fun lovable characters and convince every living being worth a damn to help them save the galaxy I don’t give a fuck. And after all that there’s no scene of Shepherd reuniting with his squad nope none of that you just see Shepard take a breath after the credits. I mean I wasn’t expecting a scene of every goddamn character we formed a relationship with celebrating their victory over the reapers with each of them getting there own farewell as the trilogy has come to an end I mean that would have been nice but I would have settle for a scene here with Shepherd surrounded with there friends to close things off no dialogue needed and It’s great that this mod dose that It sucks I cant download it because I played the trilogy on console but I’m glad somebody took it upon themselves to fix the ending so I’m grateful for that.

Tbh after beating this game for like the 5th time, I began realizing that I can’t just keep getting better and better N7 and call it a day, and the only way I’d get a new experience in Andromeda was for a new game, which probably won’t happen. While it might not have been as good as ME2 or ME3, it was still a great game :)

This is now my cannon: This ending plus Shore Leave as a post game set X amount of time later. The crucible was ultimately successful but some indoctrinated forces and stragglers remain. The war is not over but essentially won. The only thing that doesn't work is Garus' scene at the bar if you don't romance him or Tali.

To all the haters who guaranteed this game never get a sequal, I hate you all.

I used this in my last playthrough and I gotta ask did you make the model for Hackett & the animations? They look almost like cut content from Bioware they're so good. I finished the game hours ago, honestly this game was incredible there's nothing bad about it I loved everything wish there were more planets you can visit but who cares I love this game so much I spent hours nonstop on this game it was so much fun I've still got more to do as well 🥰, I can't wait to 100% it. Also Cora is best girl 🤩

This is the ending that should have been. Mass effect is my favorite trilogy. Nothing tops it, but the ending is not complete for the creators or fans. This is it. I hope Bioware takes this and makes this the real ending.

This is definitely a giant step in the right direction, but why would the citadel be unguarded? If there's no Catalyst intelligence aboard the citadel, then who tf liquefied everyone on the citadel? Why don't the reapers just destroy the Citadel to stop organics from using it? Everyone saying this is the greatest thing since sliced cheese is missing some things lmfao Unless I get to see Harbinger talk and have a story and posess TIM's husked out cyber corpse and ATTACK Shepard, this game is still unplayable. All this added content does basically is create shittier plot holes. Which leads to more questions. Why doesn't EDI hack Harbinger temporarily w her anti-reaper algorithm to drop its shields and stop it from shooting so the fleet can attack it? One fight against one reaper isn't too much to ask. Normandy can still land and save the crew, and then it doesn't feel so forced for the sake of fan service. Harbinger gets taken out by Thanix lasers and Shepard and his crew, then Normandy is free to take off and rejoin the fleet. Then, a different reaper shows up and wounds Shepard. Same outcome, different context. If you choose Destroy Ending, then Illusive Man gets posessed by Harbinger and attacks Shepard, then final boss battle happens. I'm tellin ya folks, the problem isn't happy vs sad, or this color vs that color. The problem is that the Catalyst LETS Shepard make the choice and doesnt try to kill him. When the Hack and Destroy Harbinger mod comes out, please take my fckn money. I will FUND the mod myself. Til then it's still not playable. It's just not a cohesive story without the epic conclusion put back into the game.

The synths are so powerful, love it

The only thing I would have fixed for this mod, is that the "wake up breath" should have went with the character's love interest saying their name. Which would cause Shepard to breathe. Their romantic partner/ally being the reason they are alive. Instead of them saying "Goddess/oh god/" etc.

As a grown man. I’ve spent time in the military. This song at the end of the game. The only game I 100% finished with all achievements and all activities. It made me shed a tear. It’s terrible there will never be an another.

0:20 that cruiser is waaay too small. Should be a frigate. EDIT: Nevermind, just jumped in-game, you've replaced the model with what looks like a small destroyer, pretty cool tbh. Still think a frigate would be better suited tho. But it's still cool nonetheless.

I have just finished 1-3 legendary. This included some dlc that apparently improves 3 somewhat. Was the problem with 3 just the ending? If the problem was the death of the geth and edi, how about if the initial quest of ME4 was a _personal_ quest of Shepard to resurrect them? While the galaxy is celebrating and forgetting, Shepard can’t. During this investigation of dead geth worlds a deeper threat could be uncovered and resurrecting the geth could be the solution, while the entire galaxy is against it and Shepard.

I know im quite late to the party, but with this mods, does it imply the Mass Relays arent destroyed? Id love to write something with this mod in mind for the ending canon but the timeline hinges of if the Relays are working or not lol

It's truly amazing how badly they fudged it at the end. They were so close to making one of the best trilogies and yet, after I finished ME3, I didn't feel like playing any of them again anymore. I was so sad and frustrated by the original ending. But this makes me happy. I'm glad someone created this mod. Who knows, maybe I'll play the trilogy one more time in the future.
