As a Waffle house short order cook... I acknowledge that that is the correct way to repair a flat tire.

those strips are only for temporary emergency patches regardless of what anyone says they put them through. dot would not consider a noodle plug to be a safe viable professional tire repair. only the patch from the inside with cement and sealant are proper patches. youtubers arent professionals to take advice from.
@knobsdialsandbuttonsКүн бұрын
I explained that in the video description. I'm not giving advice, I'm just demonstrating how to use the kits.

Good idea for a video, but bad execution by using AI text-to-speech narration. Thumbs down from me.

rubber-coated metal screw will work, but- must be fatter than the nail that was causing the flat...otherwise the threads of the repair screw will not " bite" the rubber tire to properly seal.
@director23454 күн бұрын
You could also install the repair screw so that it is a little below the flush level of the tire tread.

Need to turn handle 90 degree before pulling out ?
@knobsdialsandbuttons3 күн бұрын
Not with this kit. Some kits recommend rotating it 90 or 180 degrees, but not all of them.
@nelsonpun5 күн бұрын
dipping it in rubber cement actually works well as lubrication when plugging. And then itll become a bonding agent as it dries.
@knobsdialsandbuttons3 күн бұрын
True, but when I'm demonstrating repair kits I only use what comes with each kit. If it doesn't come with rubber cement, I won't use it.

Very risky provision ,it will not work in hot Tyre conditions, Tyre hole size will increase, but other will not., it's Temperley provision,only upto 60_80km, use inside patch. No external provision one.

I just got home from an approximately 300-mile off-road trip to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon with 8 vehicles. One vehicle got a significant slice through the tread that was not repairable. Two other vehicles got smaller punctures that leaked air quickly. I had a repair tool kit similar to the first one. Both of those punctures were repaired quickly while on the vehicles and held through the rest of the trip.

They're called self-vulcanising repair kits. It's not a misleading title
@billybill24489 күн бұрын
They're called by who??? ...another ignorant or dishonest person or company. Takes a simple Google search to learn what vulcanization is. Shame. Vulcanization is a process of cross-linking rubber molecules chemically with organic/inorganic substance through the action of heat and pressure. Key words: HEAT and PRESSURE
