Nice vids brother just found ya cuz i have the yard machines 20 inch mower with the 875 series briggs. A little fyi be careful when filling her up with oil i just got this mower for 150 bucks and its like new but i wanted to top off the oil which was low. I added about half a quart and way overfilled it so just be careful. If you know how much its supposed to hold let me know!

someone told m e that if you pull off the bottom plate on the engine { i think its about 6 bolts that hold it on } there is a built in oil screen filter that needs to be taken out and cleaned. Have you ever done this ?

Have this exact engine on a 2012 DR Pro XL self propelled electric start trimmer mower. (Wheeled string trimmer) Purchased without carburetor or linkages present. Engine model 121S07-0140-F1 Parts diagram gives Carburetor #797736 This is an auto choke carb. This mower had a manual carb. If you still have that engine, could you please take pics of the carburetor linkages? Any help would be appreciated.

Bought new ignitor today from John Deere . [$186.00 Canadian]. engine fired right up.I did check my grounds and wiring before I bought that..I decided to check the Ohms resistance on both . The new one had 9.48 ohms and the old one had 1810 ohms. Felt good to see that before I installed it!! So that is one test before buying a new ignitor. I removed the ground cable and the dipstick tube before replacing it. Gves you a lotmore rom to install that tiny screw.

It looks really good to take the coil off I got my coil off but I cannot get no spark on my F525 but I need a video for trying to get spark I cannot get no spark

Most often the Ignitor. I have the exact same mower without spark . Tomorrows job. I'm buying an ignitor from John Deere,unless itcosts a fortune.

It is all about using longer handled tools for leverage to avoid your early struggles. Nice looking machines with good resale value hope to see them both up and running in the future.

Nice to see a young person doing small engine repair videos. This is the OLD MAN at EP (Eliminator Performance) and just a few tips that will help you out i hope. 1. Put an email address on your about page 2. Starting out i would think you may not have enough money to invest in tools of the trade so put up a wish list check out Micks Mowers in the UK we all joke about his wishlist but the dude gets a lot of stuff sent in to him for his business 3. I am sure the small engine community will support you so live streams are good start out by watching and commenting. Eventually sign up for Streamyard and get on the panel it is a lot of fun 4. Shorter videos hold viewers attention more 5. Editing software if free and helps out with a better overall video. Your doing a good job want to see a short video on the final product suggest a coat of paint for the deck then overspray deck and engine with automotive clearcoat which is fuel resistant the mower will get you an extra $25
