One of the reasons i wasn't a fan of this series is how much of a soap opera the dialogue is in between anything actually interesting happening is like 95% of the show play this at playback 125x speed and communication its like regular speed its so dramatic

Why? Why did she let him go? Even if I buy into the idea that Red Death spared Barry out of some ideia of mercy or ultimate punishment, that still doesn't justify simply letting him go. Like, she set a trap for him using Mark, got Flash just where she wanted, told him every detail about her plans and them... LEFT??? REALLY???
