Fuel consumption is high, service intervals are short, the throttle response when starting is poor not good off-road, and you need the tank protection otherwise the tank will be damaged when the bike is falling down in rough terrain (there are vids from China showing it) that means the price will rise to around €6500.-. Best lightweight ADV? No!

Crap product

This video is all Paid promotion. From my experience the marker that shows where my bike is parked on a map is always around 100 feet from where it's actually parked. Sometimes even 200 feet. And when it is parked it drains your battery where i can only go around two weeks between rides or my battery might go lower than i want it to go. And with my Ducati i had to take off the entire left side if my fairing to connect it to the battery because the battery is on the bottom of the bike. And from my experience the app is not that great. I went 215 kph and the app said my top speed of the day was 180. And my bikes without the zizzapp i can go two month without riding no problem and the bikes start right up. I dont need to ride them every two weeks. And i wonder how the constant battery drain is going to effect how fast I am going to have to replace my battery. So im not sure the app is worth wharever peace of mind you get from it. And im not even sure i could find my bike if it was stolen. Because if the map is showing the bike a hundred feet from where its actually parked. And you dont know what direction that hundred feet is in. That leaves you with a few hundred foot circle to search where there could be twenty building in that radius.

How does it know when owner is riding motorcycle versus thief? You always get notification even when you as owner ride it?

The company has no constant and steady supply of cash flow each month like other subscription-based companies have. This is a deal breaker for me. What guarantee do we have that the company won't declare bankruptcy a few years down the road? It's no wonder that insurance companies don't recognise this security device as they do other trusted, rated and subscription-based security devices and thus they don't offer any premium discounts. The device doesn't have a rating as far as insurance companies are concerned. In other words, this is not a £250 investment. This is a scam. 😕

Hallo, danke für das informative Video. Hätte eine Frage zur Funktion, genauer zum Punkt "Bewegungserkennung". In der Beschreibung steht: Benachrichtigung wird generiert, wenn eine Bewegung erkannt wird und der Motorzustand ausgeschaltet ist. Was passiert nun, wenn ein Dieb mein Motorrad, wie auch immer kurzschließt (zum laufen bringt) und damit wegfährt. Trotz Überwachung würde ich somit keine Meldung auf mein Mobiltelefon bekommen. Das macht so keinen Sinn. Habe ich da etwas falsch verstanden? LG

Ich habe den Sizzapp Tracker seit bald einem Jahr in meinem Motorrad verbaut. Bin sehr zufrieden. Nutze ihn hauptsächlich für Statistiken (z.B im Februar 350km gefahren), hoffentlich brauche ich die GPS-Lokalisierung niemals. Habe aber auch schon Bewegungs-Benachrichtigungen bekommen, wenn z.b. Jugendliche sich an dem Motorrad angelehnt haben und konnte sie aus dem Fenster raus überzeugen, dies bitte zu unterlassen :).

The fact that almost everything is subscription based today is disgusting. If I'm paying 100+$ on something I shouldn't have to continually pay 50/month just for the product I BOUGHT to work. I'm not renting it or being held hostage by a company I paid for a service from..... The fact this is subscription free has me sold in itself.

Could you please comment on the Bike Social report UPDATE SEP 2023: Unfortunately the latest update to Sizzap has significantly reduced its appeal, making it difficult to recommend as a security device. The option to have it phone you has now been added, which is a very welcome feature, however with no proximity fob (or the ability for the device to recognise your phone as being nearby), unless you've started the engine running, as soon as you move the bike you'll get a call. This is a useful security option, and if you don't answer it you shouldn't have that call deducted from your quota of 50/month (though mine are still deducting despite not answering), but having to pull your phone out of your pocket or wherever it's stowed - especially with gloves on - is frustrating. For many people, starting the bike before it's moved simply isn't an option.
