Takes me back to 7th grade. The transition from elementary to junior high!! Great times!!! Our principal always opened the day with the daily announcements accompanied by songs from this era and the 60's playing in the background So cool!!! My first day of school is when I first heard this!! Damn good song!! That intro is a killer! Bad ass!!!
That synth intro is brilliant playing with speeds and delay. I can't help but think they drew some inspiration from Speak To Me-Dark Side of the Moon.

Hard to listen to. Singing if that's what you call it just plainly sucks

Wish I'd been able to see him. I've listened to him from the beginning. Love his originality and uniqueness. There has never been another band like TSAHB.

how old was Hendrix on this track, and cudos to the singer banging it hard.

Such a studio effort. I love it. I count at least 4 keyboard parts going on in this song. One of my favorites of all time. Great song, great album. Love you Steve! :)

This is superb example of the subversion of gospel for pop music. No wonder lotsa these musicians meet disastrous personal ends. However the shout outs to Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder and Jackie Wilson are priceless. The Little Richard whoops are priceless, too. Reference to the Brit invasion is priceless. Priceless.
