Thank you for sharing your wisdom. My best friend is a strong nurse and a single mom. Yes she received the vaccine...she has now been diagnosed with Hashimotos disease and 22 out of 24 Cancer (Lymphoma +) markers and no definitive treatment in sight to help her.

Hello! I had a question...I just got accepted to Cornell ED, and I'm naturally a more independent person so I gear more towards living in a single, but I am afraid that I won't have anyone to experience orientation week with if I don't have a roommate with me. Will that be the case? Should I just get a roommate or will I be perfectly fine meeting people if I decide to go with a single? Also would you recommend me trying to find a roommate before going of just being randomly assigned one? I plan to be in lots of clubs and organizations but I am a little worried about not initially knowing anyone. What are your thoughts?

Hey! I had a roommate last year but I prefer not having one! I made most of my friends wo my roommate so you don’t need one at all if you don’t want to! Hopefully that helps lmk if you have any other qs

@@chrisyoon47 Also, on an unrelated note lol, the restroom you were in seemed to have a private shower, sink, and toilet, but no lock on the door... is that the case for all restrooms in the residential halls? Or do some have communal showers and restrooms?

It’s not private , there’s a couple bathrooms on each floor. Usually one for each suite. Usually more ppl can use it at once but Bc covid only one person allowed per bathroom. No lock on main door but there is a lock for the toilet and the shower . But no ones gonna come in lol .

I applied ED as well! Honestly just be yourself , colleges can see through . Make sure your essays are good since less emphasis placed on test scores due to covid
