North Dakota would be a horrible place to have that planter. Every time it breaks you have to drive 500 miles to get a part.

Have to drive 500 miles to get a part either way regardless of planter size .What's your point then?
@user-rx9le1gz3b8 күн бұрын
@@brianwideman2342 I didn’t say anything about the size. My JD implement has drop boxes or will bring it to me. There’s 10x the JD stores so there is a very good chance that the part will be located(Not always tho). Case and JD also have a lot more mechanics so down time is less than with other brands let alone a planter that is brand new. Do you want me to keep going?
@brianwideman23428 күн бұрын
@user-rx9le1gz3b I'm curious what part on a modern planter you would need a mechanic for. Heck it's just a metal Lego. Everyone here knows what your saying is true. So what's the point of saying it sir? Just stating the obvious to be a smart a$$?

Does the drone just spot the rocks on top of the ground or does it have the ability to 'see' rocks lying under the surface?
@edschultheis95377 күн бұрын
The drone sees the exposed part of the rock on the surface. However, depending on the field conditions, the rock picker can also dig those somewhat exposed rocks out of the ground.

I'm interested in Aquaponics. It's awesome that so many species are able to be grown. Walleye, salmon, various trout species, perch, tilapia, catfish, shrimp, prawns, crayfish, etc. I'm going to start with a hydroponic system for weekly lettuce, kale, spinach, arugula, tomatoes, onions, herbs, etc. then work at replacing the nutrient source with fish. Would be fun to develop a hatchery and possibly donate fry for staking fisheries.

Wow! I just discovered this channel and what do I see? 3 of my favorite KZfaq farming personalities. Has anyone factored in the positive effect of a slight increase in CO2 helping maintain yields in a year of reduced precipitation? There’s sufficient solid evidence elsewhere not to look at it on the farm.

Yes, I do believe that the smoke in the air have a big part of of the record yields, smoke has sulfur and carbon in it, the crop soaked it in, and reducing the sunlight, that help the crop through the heat of the sun. Latter planted crops did not benefit as much. Two smokey years and two record crop years for those that were in the smokey areas. Not really good for us, but good for the plants.
