Actually really helpful! Got a 95 600 katana I'm doing for my gf.... Bikes been sitting for years but it starts an runs. Pulled the carbs cleaned them an got an improvement out of it. Just got my sync tool in an I think I'm gonna sync the carbs some time this weekend to just get it dialed completely. So far your the only person that went a little more in depth on sync screw locations. So thanks

@motorman9
@motorman9 6 ай бұрын
These are both slow. That Can Am isn't NEAR as fast as it should be, but one day I'll spend a bit of money for a proper tune. Wildcat 1000 is fun, & likely the best handling SxS I've owned, but plenty problems. Make sure the engine case is reinforced, or the starter/kickback will break it, upgraded or not. Anyone with some aluminum welding abilities should be able to do it. Rear differential/clutch finally went just cruising, & I sold it. If it's a newer Textron unit, thats basically a Yamaha, & likely an excellent unit

@@brianw.6718 , honestly, if the value is the same on all, the Wildcat would probably be last. RZR & Commander aren't fast, but the RZR is common. Any of the others should be a good choice. Maverick is probably fastest/sportiest

@an9 More than happy to. You suggest over and over that you dont know "what these are called". Obviously you need KZfaq validation. Broken water pump tensioner has nothing to do with dumping the clutch. That aside your engine would have overheated in less than 10 minutes without a working water pump. . That aside when you say you may keep the fried clutch plates to use later you are really unknowingly suggesting dangerous advice to others.. People watching this might believe you and end up with a motor spinning out and cause an accident. The clutch basket holds the clutch plates. "I was an idiot and blew the clutch on my Madura. So I took this video to hopefully help someone else out if they have concerns(even though I don't know what I'm doing...)." Do you want me to continue?.

Flip your oil cap upside down on your fill point and if it stays put, you dont need to be worried about the blowby. The stalling would probably be either a dirty fuel filter or something like IPR (injection pressure regulator) sticking. If your batteries aren't charging, i would look into alternator or voltage regulator. If youre just talking about why your battery charger is ot working however, that is probably because you want to have your charger hooked up to the Right Side battery, not the left. Edit: The stalling could also be a bad CPS (cam position sensor).
