The Bible is talking about 2 actual persons, not the testaments. Don't just believe what you hear from your preacher or someone else, read the scriptures for yourself. when moses and elijah came to jesus it was to show that moses was the law and he died and was resurrected elijah did not die but went to heaven he was the word of God. Gods promise of salvation and everlasting life to man.
