Love this video! Wonderful job talking about Wayne and his achievements. Always thought he was the best Mickey next to Walt, but I unfortunately gotta correct ya at 9:12. Peter Renaday did the audio-animatronic Talking Mickey Mouse toy there aswell as some records and toys at that time, while Wayne did mainly the cartoons, featurettes, commercials, and theme park stuff at the time.

My favorite scene with Robby Benson/Beast was when he was furious with Belle cuz she wasn’t going to join him for dinner - he is in front of her door and has a hard time trying to get Belle to come down and have dinner with him. Even though the 3 other servants are assisting him, he doesn’t get what he wants and that makes him furious.

For someone who claimed in his later years to making cartoons exclusively for children, he produced in 1932: Father Alfalfa's Ape Girl, a jaw dropping pre code cartoon that makes Betty Boop seem like Shirley Temple by comparison. It is on KZfaq.

Canadian here with a historical correction. We got Dudley Do-Right in Canada in the 60's (thank heavens) but only on CTV - CBC had stuff like Mr. Dressup and The Friendly Giant, morally instructive but kinda dull. Mr. Peabody & Sherman can confirm what I say.

I started to enjoy this as I'm a great Mel Blanc fan until you started adding the 2:04 asinine, unnecessary, time-wasting and unfunny "comedy" fillers, which quite frankly are an insult to the subject matter and earn you a thumbs down.

I am glad I found this video. It is nice to find out who did all cartoon characters that I watched and loved.

Right after Mel's death, Warner Brosthers published a panel of all the Looney Tunes characters. Some may have seen it. It was the entire cast of characters heads bowed to the right, with a spotlight at an empty microphone to the left. It was a very emotional image. My cousin and I got the best of Mel for years. Thank you, Mel.
