I think you should finish the main story for this patch of Wuthering Waves before giving your thoughts! Especially Act 3 onwards it gets really good. Im really excited to see your reaction to act 6!

Nah, Wuthering Waves' story starts slower, that is very much true, but once you get to Act 6 it tops what Genshin's 1.0 finale did, so there's that, and like any Gacha game the story can only get better from here. As for being similar to Genshin, of course that's intended and in the Gacha space you will always "translate" the game terms to whatever gacha you're most familiar with. I mean this isn't even just limited to Gacha games, of course, but all games within a certain genre. It's very much meant to ease players into the game. But what a game gets known for is what stands out, and in WuWa that's the combat and the exploration that just completely blows Genshin out of the water. Like, once you get used to the movement in WuWa it's actually painful to return to Genshin where everything is just so much slower xD I don't like the term Genshin killer, but I can actually agree with the term Genshin+. It expanded on a lot of things Genshin is still sleeping on after 4 years, and if they keep playing into their strengths WuWa will be an all around better experience for people who mainly care about combat. The story will get better, too, but story and design is always subjective so there's always gonna be a divide there.

I have to ask. Did you play alot of games before genshin? Because I'm going to be honest, the monstat story was like early ps2 era quality. Liyue almost made me quit genshin and even though i decided to continue playing i spam space bar because i find the dialogue to be almost impossible to get through. Now this isn't too say that Wuwa had a good story or at least not until act 3. Perhaps I'm just too old and jaded

The movement and the combat keep me coming back, and kinda make me dislike going back to genshin... Ive been spoiled by wall running and endless sprint.

btw i think the reason yang yang talks so slowly is because (I THINKKK) the original japanese voice took along time to finish talking and the voice actor had to like up the lypsincing so that it matches although thats just a theory of mine

My crit ratio on him is like 50% crit rate(86 with the atifact buff) and 204% crit dmg. I think its pretty decent. And his HP is like 35 thousand.

I got 309% on CD and 37% CR(after artifacts set passive it became 73%) he became a monster😂😂😂, the damage can goes 30k and 50k if there's a great buff from food/support/domain, he's C0R1 btw
