I don't mean to sound insensitive but why didn't the female passenger say something to the cabin crew upon seeing the smoke in the first place? Even the little boy saw it and didn't tell the cabin crew and only told whom accompanied him on the flight, had they warned someone the pilot and his crew would have known in advance that a very serious problem was at hand and could have tried to combat the problem but neither one of them said anything to the airplane personal but thank goodness they landed safely thanks to their amazing captain and his staff. My apologies if I sound offensive everyone but it was just a thought that I wanted to convey but please correct me if I came wrong in my thinking, it would be deeply appreciated. I was working in Amsterdam airport at the time of the crash. As i lived in the Bilmermeer apartments they let me go home early to basically see if my home was still there!!!... Thankfully it was but in the distance there was billowing smoke and small fires from where the plane had hit.....I still have a small part of the aircraft

I remember when the plane landed in the Hudson river. I watched the whole thing. I was down by the river buying a couple pounds of weed and then we heard the loud roaring. Confused and looked up and seen the plane flying low and hitting the water. I was already high af so i thought i was seeing stuff. Come to find out later that the plane was real lol.

I've seen a few programs on this crash and each one said that it was standard for the runway at Charles de Gaulle Airport to only be inspected and cleared twice a day. I hope that's not the case now. Concorde was such a magnificent bird, it's so sad it doesn't operate anymore although i know the running costs were a big part of that decision.
