Where do you buy this crack repair?

If the crack is bigger than this really thin one in the video, then epoxy will leak through the port to the space behind the facial grey cover to who knows where... That was my experience: 8 tubes went to the ports and I have no idea where. Nothing came through above port. Gravity brought all of it down. I guess crack was bigger than I thought, and bigger than it looked from inside.

I’m hoping I going to install this product properly. I have cracks going diagonally away from old poured in windows and a crack below that was fixed sometime in the past. I plan on using epoxy to fill and bidirectional to hold together. I’m also thinking about installing crack locks

Just moved into a new home here in Australia. A section of the cinder block wall (we call them "Besser Blocks" here) in the lower basement area, has defined cracks and slight bowing. It's a real worry as it supports a very large brick wall above it. So was great to see this very in-depth video of how the Rhino Carbon Fiber system could be used to rectify the wall. I can find Australian suppliers for the "Crack Locks" But I can't find an Australian supplier for the strips. Any info would be helpfull. Thanks

Doubt it. Too thin it would just run all over the place on the inside of the block

Nice demonstration but.. you didn’t use the same block set up with tractor test.. if you notice in the bonding process, the block has a good size chip out of the top right corner.. the block in the pull test doesn’t.. sorry to be that guy..

I'm confused by the round end features. Isn't it important to have the stitch in tension before bonding? The video doesn't make any reference to carefully locating the drill holes. That just doesn't make sense, since from past experience drilling concrete, precise location is difficult at best. Or, are the round end features not so important, while the bonding actually occurs continuously along the length of the stitch?
@MrOliverAC3 жыл бұрын
Hey Lou. No stitch is already in tension before bonding. Tension happens when the stitch is already in service. I am a concrete repair contractor, and use this system successfully. Drilling concrete is an art, but we are able to get it on the spot by first drilling with a small guide bit and then the big bit. Bonding occurs on the hole are and on the length of the lock.

This video either is bad or the product is bad- what ever caused the crack is probably gonna continue to mess the foundation and cause more cracks This is one stupid product- a bandage for a serious problem

If the strap fits, the holes are in the proper places. The epoxy glue locks the strap in the cut channel & drilled holes (x2 ends).
