how -20 C is achieved ?
@BitesizeBio6 ай бұрын
Hi. Here are the common methods. Freezers and Refrigerators: Laboratories often have freezers that can maintain temperatures as low as -20°C or even lower (like -80°C). These freezers are used to store biological samples, reagents, and to conduct experiments that require low temperatures. Ice Baths with Salt: For quick cooling or maintaining low temperatures for a short duration, ice baths can be used. Adding salt to the ice water can lower its freezing point, allowing temperatures to reach approximately -20°C. This method is often used for short-term applications.

I knew I liked Gary Nolan, but when he said he played EverQuest…I fell in love. ❤

I can't believe you don't have more views. Professor Nolan videos are almost non existent. . He is so fascinating, and yet down to earth unlike so many highly intelligent people. Thank you so much, and to Professor Nolan as well.

Thanks for a nicely put interview with the much appreciated Mr Nolan. Interesting with quite a different perspective with reference to the podcasts by Lex Fridman and Jesse Michaels (American Alchemy), which I do recommend to consider for further investigation ... 🖖💚

excellent interview. i subbed. thanks for putting this out there, and taking the time! i am glad that gary entertained your more lighthearted questions - i was worried he would think it was a waste of time!
@SimpleLifeAlways812 жыл бұрын
No, it’s never a waste of time to get to really know a person who is important to the interviewer. Little details would help the interviewer know what to ask, how to ask, and so on.
@5lanediver2 жыл бұрын
@@SimpleLifeAlways81 i didn’t say it was a waste of time. i said i was glad gary didn’t see it as a waste of time. some more serious people might think that, i am glad he did not.
