good god that whistle...I know 765 has dawned many whistles but which is this one? It's my favorite one. It sounds so ghostly, so demanding. So....right for it.

I salute the people who designed, built, worked on, drivers and firemen, and just everyone involved from day one. Here's a BIG CHEER to you all.

It is pretty cool that this program not only featured steam locomotives, but also diesel and electric.

It is always great to see an old steam locomotive get restored, but narrow gauge engines, they have something into consider. They are some of the most unique steam locomotives around.

It said that knowing 3985 is no longer part of the Union Pacific Heritage Fleet, but I will plan to see her when she's back in operation.

I am planning to visit this railroad to see 1309, but hopefully I get to see 734 in the future as well. Also, I think the The B&O 3 chime sounds best on 734.

I am planning to visit these two railroads someday. Also, I think the Reading 6 chime sounds great on number 90.

It was my understanding that the freight, particularly coal, have really diminished in volume and frequency over the last 10 years or so -- is that in fact true?

i seen people comment on why 4014 has a diesel helper i watched a video and the diesel has a ptc on it that big boy dont have positive train control it let them know where there at so theres no head on crash with another train its law ever train has to have one there working on getting one for big boy so it dont have to have a diesel helper

Always liked this engine. First saw her in action in 1995 and 1996 (when I was 4 and 5 years old, respectively) during her stint at Steamtown. Really hope she comes east again someday.
