Hello. First off love your videos. I do have a couple questions. And it don't have any thing to do with this video,but I need help. Lol first off. What kind of grow lights do I need to buye. And the second question is, when I put my drip line down under my plastic weed thingy. How do I know if the flowers are getting enough water, and do u have a video on putting in a drip line? I don't know how .lol. I am trying to learn this stuff.. It's just my main worry is learning to run the water system.
@gingersflorals18 сағат бұрын
I bought some LED grow lights off Amazon because there were inexpensive. You can use shop lights from Home Depot too. Don’t think too much. Must anything will work. Also the drop is really dependent on your conditions specifically. I’ve just had to learn by trying. Your plants will tell you if they need more water. They’ll also tell you if they’re getting too much. I run mine for 30 minutes. Longer of it’s hit and less or not at all of is cool and rainy. Just give it a go. You’ll be okay

Can you tell me about your deer fence?
@gingersflorals2 күн бұрын
Our fencing isn’t really tall enough to keep deer out. It’s only 4ft high. It keeps the rabbits and the dogs out. The dogs keep the deer away

Hi! What do you use as a cover for the ones you planted in fall? Do you keep them covered on the whole time uncover sometimes so they get the rain? Also do you water them over fall/winter or not at all?
@gingersflorals2 күн бұрын
It’s just plastic row cover that you can order from Johnnys. I don’t keep it up all winter. Mostly it’s for when it’s going to be very cold or excessively rainy. Otherwise I leave the cover off. We get enough rain that I don’t need to do extra watering in the winter and spring

Hi. Sorry about the well. Glad you could get a pump and get it all going pretty quick. My question is about the lilies. I know the least about these. I’m learning about the different kinds but still all new to me. What are yours? Are they fragrant? Are they asiatic? Are they preferred? Thank you very much .
@gingersflorals5 күн бұрын
I grow asiatic for crops because they’re not fragrant. In a farmer’s market setting, at most for me, not a lot of people want the fragrance it can be overwhelming. I do grow oriental lilies in my own garden. I love them

Hi Erin. Great tour, thank you. I don’t know Honeywort. It reminds me a bit of Holabors (not sure of spelling). How tall do they grow? Also do you pinch your Bbalm? Mine are slim long stem with one flower. Are they a different variety do you think? Your sunflowers are amazing ❤

The honeywort are about 2 1/2 feet tall. I don’t pinch my bee balm. This variety branched by itself.

Hello there. I have a question. When is the latest you can grow stock. Does it only grow in the Early spring?
@gingersflorals15 күн бұрын

How do you support them when they are young and short? Is it okay to let them sprawl until they get 10 or 12 inches?
@gingersflorals20 күн бұрын
Because I grow them on my fence, they can start climbing right away. You probably can let them sprawl a bit. Just be wary of letting them attach to anything that might be nearby that you don’t want it to
