Correct, with a track team made up entirely of African Americans... Without African Americans, the US would probably not even finish in the top ten in the gold medal tally by the end of the Olympics... Australia has five million fewer people than the state of Texas, yet our team is almost the size of the US Olympic team and we are third on the gold medal tally. Per capita, we Australians are sporting gods... So yeah, how big do you think the US team would be if they could only pick their athletes from Texas...

The US has used the gold count before. When they had the most gold. You will see that if the US sweeps next week in Track and Field and other events and ends up with more gold than other countries, but less medals overall, they will switch their list.

I think you should assign 3 points for gold, 2 points for silver and one for bronze and that should give you the fairest rankings.

“Darl”reminds me of the ladies that work at our local Woolies. The friendlier ladies also liberally sprinkle “sweetheart” in among the “Darls”. I was near one of the ladies teaching an old bloke how to use the self-serve checkouts. “Now, darl, you ..etc etc” “There you go Sweetheart all done!” No political correctness at our Woolies.😂
