Don’t ask how, but I was watching this at night and had the BEST sleep I’ve ever had (aside from when I visit my grandma, cuz the beds she has are fucking awesome! I love my grandma :) )

They just aren't scary, if I wanted to play horror, I would play a *HORROR* game. + Cheap jumpscares are not good, the atmospheric sounds are cool ig though.

I only watch calvin for this horror mod stuff bc he has a friend adding different mods to his mod pack without Calvin knowing so there is actual suspense to the game since he has no idea what his friend is removing and adding , no hate to anyone else making these vids just saying everyone should do that, it is way more entertaining and watchable.

Easily the scariest thing I've ever seen in Minecraft is the 10x-10z 100 block high obsidian tube in my Skyblock map. "Why?" you may ask, it's because it's covered with blocks at the top, so it's pitch black and I can't see where the tube stops and the void starts. Even though I can fly like I'm in creative mode, just looking at the abyss and feeling it looking back leaves me unnerved.

I think Ice and Fire does a surprisingly good job at being scary despite it not being a horror mod. The hostile mobs do a really good job at expressing their hostility and danger that it's easy to panic when encountering them for the first time. I'll never forget how scary my first cyclops encounter was, specially after seeing it straight up picking up mobs and eating them, aswell as just breaking blocks on it's path
