Is it worth getting t12 sheep over slime? Like one slime make 200k per day each with Soil and diamond spreading, how much does one t12 sheep with soil and berries make each day?

Sheep is a long-term investment, if you are planning on quitting for a while then it would be worth it. Sheep makes 280k a day or so with a setup similar to that of slime (except it would need to have a berberis fuel injector).

You can choose whether or not you want to switch to sheep, it's more expensive but makes better profit. It's basically just personal preference but do keep in mind that slime minions are still good.

This setup make around 10m/day (factoring in the costs of beacon fuel) and is quite nice. This setup includes a tier V beacon, 31 Tier 12 Revenant minions which are all mithril infused and have a flycatcher, enchanted hopper, Corrupt soil, XX-Large storage and a plasma bucket. This setup (by replacing the corrupt soil with a super compactor) can also make 312,480 combat XP per day not including factors like having multiple accounts on a profile or having combat wisdom. I didn't get this setup for 5b, a lot of the stuff you need to make it has gone up in price since I bought it. I only spent 3.5b or so on it. I placed this setup down on june 18th, 2024 live on my most recent livestream (so yes, this video is stream highlights). A tier 12 sheep with a berberis fuel injector, enchanted lava bucket (or hamster wheels if you want to do that), enchanted hopper, and corrupt soil would make more than a T11 slime minion.

I'll be leaving the game for a year soon, what minions do you recommend using? I have about 3b nw, 28 slime minions, I recently got hyperion. Which minions would be best for me? Does inferno t3 make sense? Or what do you advise to put for a year

If you quit the game for an entire year, you could just stick with your slime minions or, if you wanted to, maybe get one or two more minion slots and upgrade to sheep. Either way I would highly recommend logging in during derpy once you come back (not specifically the next derpy but any derpy in the future).

@@mrrellax2309 The sheep setup is like 10m + 75 pelts/minion (at least, for T12. If you wanted T11 sheep then I wouldn't bother upgrading). You could just treat the sheep minions like your slime minions, keeping the same setup except now you use sheep instead of slime. But using an item called a berberis fuel injector on the sheep minions is relatively cheap yet effective in making more profits over a long time, especially a time period as long as a year.

@@squidwardmc6128 By the way, I recently learned that when playing actively, using a super compactor 3000 in slimes or sheep is much better and sell ench stuff on bz(also we get collection from that), right? But if we leave the game for a long time, we remove the super compactor 3000 and put flycatcher(if a rich player) or berberis if not, right?

Yeah, T12 sheep minions are tradable, but practically nobody is selling them. You can just craft them yourself (using the wiki to see how to do pelt grinding is useful). Using a berberis fuel injector instead of a flycatcher will reduce profits by a negligible amount so you should do it. idk how much your setup will produce a day, but you can test it when you actually have the setup.

You gotta stay logged out/switch to a different profile during derpy and only go back to your main profile when derpy is mayor (I switched to a different profile so I could still play skyblock). You can stay logged out for any given period of time but will only gain rewards 2x minion rewards if you login during derpy.

I'm pretty sure the berberis fuel injector makes slightly less profit, but the difference is barely negligible and I highly suggest using the berberis fuel injector if you get your own setup like this.

Not to dog on the effort it takes to create a setup like this, but there's a reason that inflation is so bad. Enchanted hoppers really shouldn't be in the game with how ridiculously op they are in a setup like this.

I feel like farming is a lot worse than enchanted hoppers in terms of causing inflation. Most skyblock players farm, but not a lot of them have an overpowered minion setup.

@@squidwardmc6128 Quite the opposite, there was some data released a few months ago that showed something like 55% of all coins generated across the entire server was from automated shipping (slime/sheep minions), while only about 25% was from all npc sold items (ruby mining, farming, etc).

to be honest many people dont know this before slime , snow and clay were good , and before that sheep and gravel were too good , now it is again sheep over slime , sheep has one more advantage if not even corrupt soil , then u can collect daily and sell enchanted mutton before derpy , sometimes prices go to 8k to 12k per enchanted mutton
