The planets basicly got a complete graphics update. Water, the environment in general and even clouds look MUCH better now..

I had reinstalled the game for this update a few days ago. I saw about the clouds etc... Starting from beginning again so I know there's going to be no issues with using an old save game file.

You know, one the cool thing about open worlds is that the player can search for hidden loot. Here they just flat-out tell you where it is. lol

An open world Star Wars game and they completely miss the opportunity for us to play a mercenary or bounty hunter and instead went with an ""outlaw""... None of the gameplay even fits the role of an outlaw, no robbing, no stealing, no heists (except in story), because you're a good outlaw and only commit crimes when the story says you do. You'd think since we're an outlaw we would be committing crimes with our crew and completing jobs for the criminal underground, not roaming the fields, petting animals while helping random people. I understand they aren't trying to do RDR2.... But if you want to play an actual outlaw play that.

We need an Exocraft upgrade station to upgrade the storage of Exocrafts. We can upgrade inventory slots, starship slots, even freighter slots so why not include Exocrafts?

Visually that looks insane compared to last time I played about a year ago, arguably even better than the environment we were promised pre release. Definitely going to have to replay it. And yeah, given the age and niche of the title, it's doing fine on Steam.

I bought this game when it came out, played for 10 hours and never touched it again. Decided to give it a go since the last update came out. Can’t stop playing it now. Put in 40 hours in the last 5 days

Bought this on the 5.0 update. While there is still some work to be done I can't complain one bit. 60 hours in and still going.

No man's sky sucks until they add enemies for me to shoot that actually shoot back at me add outposts for me to loot I'm not playing this game exploring planets is extremely boring in this game there's nothing of interest I don't give a fuk about animals i only care about lore give me outposts give me enemies to shoot exploring a planet and looking at fauna and animal life is boring that is the farthest thing from fun to me I don't care about that stuff

Despite its flaws like the weak combat and weird glitches No Man's Sky is still the best space game to date.

No Man's Sky teaches a lesson a lot of people especially in business need to learn. You can screw up, ruin your reputation, destroy trust, nearly tank your entire company, but if you focus on what's important and put in the work, you can bounce back. If you know your audience and properly address them, you can bounce back, you can go further than you thought you could.

The best part is that they'll keep up with such big updates. They've called this one "Part 1" because more parts are coming and that's just stuff from their new game getting backwards compatible and added into No Mans Sky. They're geniuses in that regard, testing features from their upcoming game into an older game is the best way to test it out. For me those type of games benefit the most when it comes to environments, I recall I've modded the water in No Man's Sky years ago because it was kinda flat and this update took care of that, also of the sky, I love these. We need fishing now.
