An English comment. I'm glad you like London. I'm always a bit startled by what transatlantic visitors prioritise to see. Tower Bridge may be beautiful, but we English scarcely regard it as old! It only dates from 1904! But right next door is the Tower of London, a massive castle, the central tower of which dates back to 1070. Most visitors to it seem enthralled by the dramatic history that has happened there. Similarly, Westminster Abbey is full of our history. I appreciate both these places charge. And of course there is the rest of the UK, with very beautiful country, and great historic cities such as York and Bath. The rest of the UK is also much cheaper!

Your London video came up on my feed so I just binge watched all four of them in order. Your vlogging skills really improved with each city. You really packed a lot of sight seeing into a short amount of time. It was nice to see that you were able to make friends as you went along and were not "solo" the entire trip. I will be traveling to London and Dubai in a few days and then Copenhagen for Christmas so these videos were fun to watch. Next time you are in London try to make time for the Borough Market. You were pretty close to it at one point. The food there is amazing. Check out some of the YT vlogs. Also, Copenhagen at Christmas time is beautiful. Tivoli Gardens is always decorated so nice. I will be looking forward to seeing your next adventure!!

Hey, thanks so much for watching all 4 episodes, it means a lot! 😁 I'm glad you enjoyed them, and yes I agree, my vlogging definitely improved in each city, I also noticed that when I was editing! I have yet to go to Dubai, but I hope to one day. And I will put that on my list for the next time I'm in London, thanks! Christmas in Copenhagen honestly sounds great, I never thought about it, but I do love the Christmas season so maybe one year I'll get to spend it there! I gotta start traveling again so I can make more content lol and I do genuinely miss it too, but I hope you have a great trip to London, Dubai and later Copenhagen! Safe travels :)

Good video and like the natural flow style and comes across as natural without the gimmicks that other vidoe log people use, when you see the star system on restuarants in the UK, it is rare to see 5 stars but treat with caution as it can mean , that the business owner has given money to the food hygeine department. Which is illegal of course but was a demand to a friend when she had her bar where I live and it is more widespread. Obviously not in all cases, so I treat 1 an2 stars along with the five and the 3 and 4 range star range to be good. Covent Garden is said is said as the the 'Co is said as in the word cough so Co vent Garden, nice choice to go there , anyway will leave you in peace now and will look forward to catching up with your previous videos, and the ones co come.

I would say so if you'e interested in seeing somewhat of how the royals live. I only did "The State Rooms" tour, so I can only speak to that. It's a tour that you can go at your own pace so you can be there as long as you'd like, which is nice! In my opinion, it had similar vibes to visiting a museum but was more fascinating to me because the palace continues to be actively used to this day so you learn about the rooms and what they're used for etc. and also learning more about their lives was pretty cool too!

I’ve really enjoyed these 4 videos. I’m glad you felt like you developed as a person through this trip. I never went anywhere abroad on my own till I was over 40. @MarkPMus15 күн бұрын
I think most British people wonder how people manage to live in London! You should try renting an apartment in London. I know everyone tells you what to do, but it’s much cheaper to stay outside London and travel in. For example, you can stay in Hastings (it’s a train ride to the south coast, from Gatwick airport). It’s a historical place, it’s near where William the Conqueror fought the Battle of Hastings in 1066, and loads to see for a day, in relative peace and quiet. The next day, get up early and catch a train from Hastings into London Charing Cross. (1 hr 40 mins journey.) Charing Cross is literally right next to the Embankment, Trafalgar Square, Westminster, short walk to Downing Street where the government is, etc… so in 2 days you could see a part of England (Hastings) that not many foreigners come to, and do the biz in London. I’ve just subbed, by the way.

@@MarkPMus I manage to live just fine on my inflated salary, because I work in London. I have lived in Bristol, Brighton and Manchester and Leeds. I also lived/studied for 3 years in Newcastle. I wont tell you my favourite of the bunch because beyond 6 months, I had seen all those cities had to offer. Whereas, I have lived in London for 6 years now and STILL have not ran out of things to do/places to see. GO FIGURE. Whilst advising tourists to stay outside of London, why don't you consider that a huge majority of them have 1-4 days in the UK alone, therefore your suggestion eats into the little time they do have to spend in London.... If they visit London - Stay in London. Simple

Hey these were 4 really good vlogs, you have a talent! I was wondering what were your expectation before the trip and what did you learn about traveling by yourself?
@pat_kobАй бұрын
Thank you so much!! That means a lot <3 I don't think I really had too many expectations. I was in Europe because I was visiting family, and because it's so far from home and I'm not there often, I decided to go on a fun trip. As you saw in the vlogs, I was planning things last minute all the time, so I wouldn't really say I had too many expectations other than just being excited to see these cities for the first time and whatever they had to offer (which I do think is the best way to approach it, because otherwise, you may set unrealistic expectations for these cities and then get disappointed if they don't meet those expectations). Though, I was definitely scared to go off on my own. At first, I was so fixated on "meeting friends" because the solo traveling part scared me A LOT, so I wanted someone to travel with. But then I quickly met people pretty much wherever I went and realized that making friends along the way wasn't scary or that hard at all. Meeting people, even briefly, and hearing about where they're from, their travel stories, and what they're up to in life also made me realize how much more there is out there that we don't really think about or even know about, and how different life is for everyone, which fascinated me but also made me realize how much the things we worry about in our day to day don't really matter, but at the same time, made me appreciate those small things in life too. Shortly after my Berlin trip, I also stopped being scared of the traveling alone part, and came to peace with it, which is why I didn't meet anyone or hang out with anyone other than myself in London. I just really enjoyed doing everything I wanted to do just because I wanted to do it and didn't have anyone to tell me otherwise/help me with decision-making... even if that was a bit exhausting at times because of my indecisiveness, I still got it done on my own! So the big takeaways for me are that it taught me how to be more comfortable with putting myself out there when meeting people, and it also taught me more about myself, like what I enjoy, how I function alone in uncomfortable/stressful situations, and how to trust myself more overall. It also taught me to appreciate the moments/experiences in life more and to cherish the connections I make with people along the way! I'm just proud that I pushed myself into going on this solo trip experience because it was definitely outside of my comfort zone, and I learnt a lot and ended up loving it!
