i grew up going to so many games in the last stadium so i'll always love it and think its definitely a lot more beautiful than the new one but man its nice to watch a game and not be in direct sunlight in 100 degree weather

It will be damn near impossible for consumer to indulge in a new sports even Football (soccer) in USA is not at that level despite USA men's team reaching best 16 in the Fifa 2022 and women's team being several times world champion

Canada needs to win. This is the issue with expanding the league, the percentage of people who win every year gets less and less. Eventually a team’s fans give up after 30+ years of waiting

As as Oiler fan, watching Winnipeg losing their team was awful - especially while both Alberta teams were hanging in the balance. And Jets fans *fought* SO hard to keep the Team they were so passionate about! I cried when the team left, and I cried when they came back. (And I feel for Coyotes fans now ❤) Edmonton got lucky, very lucky. And we are grateful to be where we are now.

Colorado native here - we did a bit of math on the thin air and calculated a 1 yard difference for the travel vs. sea level. If 1 yard is "much farther" then fine. This is one of the most sports-psychological placebos ever.

I remember my dad picking seats based off of the time of the game. He'd pick seat for us to where we would be in the shade most of the game.

At least the constant is the Angels. The Dodgers changed their team name a bunch of times. Brooklyn Grays to the Atlantics to Bridegrooms to Superbas to Trolley Dodgers to Robins to Dodgers.

One awesome thing about this though is that local high school teams get to play in the old stadium. A few years ago my high school's football team got to play a game in there and we got to watch. It's sad that they had to leave the old stadium, but an unexpectedly great thing for the community.

To be fair, these are world-class athletes so they should have solid cardo capabilities and the altitude shouldn't be that much of a game-changer for them. Additionally, players are sucking on oxygen all the time in lower-elevation cities, so it's not just a Denver thing. When I moved here from sea level, I only initially struggled doing any cardio-intense activity above 11,000', and I'm very far from being a world-class athlete.

Absolutely 👍🏼 There should definitely be more distinctive outfield walls. It’s one of the reasons why I love baseball ⚾️ all dimensions should be kept different. As a Mets fan it sucks to see certain original extreme pitcher friendly ballparks get shrunk but I get it. Steroid era is over and people wanna see more hits/action. The Bermuda Triangle made the OG triples alley in oracle park look shallow.

The CFL’s relationship with the NFL is akin to the relationship between rugby union and rugby league. On the surface it looks the same, but the rules are different enough to be seen as their own sport. The CFL requires different skill sets.
