I bought it from the online store and it arrived today. As I suspected might be the case, the photographs really don’t do it justice. It’s a really nice shirt. The white badging and logo don’t look as faint as the photos suggest.

I like it but it’s not quite right due to the white logos and badge, they should be a darker or have a dark outline. I think it’s different and most Sunderland fans hate any sort of change. Think of it this way, even this shirt is far better than any away or third kit we’ve had in 15 years. It’s interesting for once instead of a crappy template with a boring colourway. I get that not everyone will like it, that’s a given but people are going over the top by saying worst kit etc 😂 literally every kit we’ve had in the last 10 years has been forgettable, this will be remembered for a long time, whether positively or negatively.

Change the badge to a Christian cross. Or Christian orientated or stay in the championship, being promoted every decade only to come back down. But change the badge and the black cats can go to the pits of hell and your clubs badge can be Christian and go up the league.
