I’ve been grinding all of my stat in the begining of the game, killing and take out numbers of villagers. All weapon stat maxed to level 20. And still they beat my ass of in the first encounter 😅.

Beware adding mods if you cherish added perks. A mod can remove a perk that cannot be regained. Captain Bernard adds the False Edge perk to Sword skill as a reward only offered during training. The mod Shortsword Skill deletes the Sword combat skill and replaces it with two separate skill categories Longsword and Shortsword, each with all their respective perks. You can level each separately. False Edge disappears and cannot be reacquired as far as I can tell. It might be best to install the mod before Henry trains with Bernard it you want to acquire False Edge, but I have not tried that yet and don't know if that would work.

I was not aware of the perk until this video. I'm still on my first run of Henry begun in late 2023 kcd ver 1.9.6. I just now checked stats, Cumans killed = 54 and I have the perk. It appears the perk is automatically activated without assigning it a perk point. I know I haven't looked at Main level perks for a very long time because Henry's been level 19 for what seems like ages.

I just did this. Took him down from the rocks up the hill. He took about 7 arrows (which I got back afterwards 😂). I also killed all the cumans on the road down there stabbing them from the horse. Now I'm in Talmberg and I can barely move 🤣

Well in war that’s how our vets make it through without mental scaring. You take the human out of your enemy. Most of the time their behavior does it for us.(not saying me) But yeah you turn things into a them against me sort of situation and add the dehumanizing components and suddenly murder isn’t so difficult. Considering Henry kills mainly Cumans as his opposition it makes sense the game would do that as a representation how your characters able to still be dane

Do you have it on super easy or something? EVery time I do that I get blocked and he does a 5 to 6 combo strike and I can block one hit every ten hits. I see in this video he doesn’t perform his combos how the hell is that possible?

(spoiler) I acquired this because I got cocky when Kobyla sent me to scout a camp occupied by bandits and cuman. Went straight into it with a bane poisoned sword and managed to k*ll everyone.

Can anyone confirm there's a hidden perk during "The Prey" hunting mission with Hans Capon? It's supposed to be able to remove the "stolen" status on meat/parts you harvest from any animals you hunt and kill, but I've only seen one mention of it in a forum thread.

Hello, 3 years later and finally laying this. I've been killed in every place so far, the prologue, Talmberg, and not yet Rattay, but I can promise I'll die there soon. I killed a few people in Skalitz and looted their bodies, I then killed 6 people in Talmberg, 1 cook, 1 stable hand, 3 villagers, and 1 chamberlain. In Skalitz I first punched two horses, got thrown in jail, and burned to death. In Talmberg, I got stuck in an endless "spotted" loop forcing me to fight. I proceeded to fight, wearing a decked-out guards' armor, killing a guard. I would've killed the second one, but the entire army came running at me. I also tried to fight that lockpicking guy, who brutally murdered me. I had to keep restarting so many times. I was able to choke out a guard (guard in the beginning when you get the "speak to sir roborg, get a horse, and escape Talmberg" mission), guy with a helmet with arrows and a bow. I also proceeded to kill a dog in Skalitz as well, farewell poor pup. Adding to this, I killed a man and her wife. I walked through the door as he opened it, chocked him out, killed him. I heard his wife, so I dragged him into the rightmost storage room, not the one on the left. I then proceeded to loot the corpse, stealing the money and both keys. I then went into the kitchen, spoke to the wife about her life in Rattay, then chocked her out, and killed her. I also looted her corpse. I walked outside and saw they had a dog, I killed him. Best to let them rest, am I right? Also, I did encounter a bug in Skalitz. I had hid behind a door, and the guards stood there. (I was wanted for the murder of a villager in the inn). I also had killed the Ballif. He came running after a woman saw me murder her husband, I then killed her as well. The Ballif came in and I killed him, clearing that mess up.

I had no such luck. My Henry has the stamina of Fat Bastard and gets winded too fast. And the Cuman was in God Mode I think.
