Thanks Cory! It seems if I’m trying to scan all posts at once with Grammee, and I start with the “tougher to see” scan post I have more luck. Have you had this experience as well? I would assume if you add multiple scans with separate posts you would inherently get a little more error?

I’m working for a doctor who uses photogrammetry. Also he uses neodent implant but a biohorizon scanbody (they work together) but during the access hole step I’m not getting the lip for the screw to sit on for insertion. Am I missing something?

What do you use for photogrammetry? I worked for a dentist previously went to your course and now I’ve started working for the photogrammetry company IMetric. Would love to connect and I have found your video very helpful as I am new to designing and creating models.

Hi Cory, first of all I want to thank you for your contribution to my professional growth. The freehand technique is excellently explained. Do you have any limitations before guided surgery or is it just a question of the length of the drills? I think you are pleased to know that you are a great teacher for me

These are great videos - super helpful. Has anyone seen guide offset explained? I'm making a custom guide for a custom implant, but you don't really have a choice for a custom guided kit that I know of

Seriously on the working length.... Where did you get the files? My local guy called me needing 60+ mm for a laborador canine. Ummmmmm... Nope. Great video.

All went well, except for the final Boolean subtraction of the 2.6mm screw channel and the solid crown that was made: it didn't subtract the hole, and I followed the steps exactly. Any tips as to why that happened? Thanks for the video!

You can do this for fixed restoration but not removable. Only a handful of dentist will have correct parallel placement of implants and you cannot cure directly to your implants like you can with press pack.

Great tool . A lot to lean from you . One mention that I see as a new user : if you extend the tubes of pins you have to be sure not to interfere with bone surface ( otherwise the guide will not seat properly). I already made the mistake :D

Thank you for producing such high quality educational content! Keep up the good work! I also have a question for you. What is the built in offset in the male - female parts in your STLs?. I have made similar connectors for my stackable guides (tube in tube style) with .3 tolerance built in. Just because this is the value that works with my printer (flashforge Hunter - i know not the best one out there), in order to get enough retention through friction. Is it safe to guess that you have a bigger offset because the pins are only used for alignment and you rely on the magnets for retention? I will buy them anyway. That's the least i can do to show my appreciation for your incredible content!
