I love this video. Perfect narration, explaining along each step, and, for me, showing how to avoid dropping a stitch that is trying to slide up as you pull the other stitch over. It's the small things like that ruin a project, so good job demonstrating!

It would be useful if you could show the whole process when a dropped stitch is only noticed after completing a row. I don't know how to unpick stitches without losing them entirely. I suppose I need an idiot's guide to knitting. Otherwise this is a good channel.

Thank you for a great tutorial, I was trying to follow another KZfaq channel without any success as the instructor was using the continental method of knitting and I have knitted the English way always. I have subscribed to your great channel too

Been knitting for some years… not overly successful but live staying with the English thrower stitch… other styles hurt my head… stumbled across this channel and was delighted to see good old much critiqued thrower technique for garter.. any so yeah tuning into this channel to refresh basics and learn new tips, I thoroughly enjoyed the simplicity of this and hope it continues. I am 65 and this is my big thing to move forward but cannot stand loads of jabbering.

Ciao buon lavoro 🤗💌

So.... multiples of 4, + 1. I think you can actually make the knits sts at beginning and end the edge stitches. The first knit row is the right side of the work, and it is repeated for row 3. It is a 4 row repeat. The double p3tog with a yarn over, k1, happens on the wrong side and is placed between the clusters 2 rows below on subsequent pattern rows. To bind off, I would do it on the right side, or when starting the knit row. Nice video and the stitch creates a slightly lacy pattern, very nice.

So basically if you do all purl or all knit stitches..it will turn into garter...i hope i am correct..I have had so much confusion regarding this because most of the tutorials said the back side should be opposite, which was not happening..thank you ❤

I came to this video from another one that was moving way too fast. You explained it well, and moved at a nice pace, as well as had a GOOD camera angle! Thank you for making this, hopefully I can really start picking up speed in knitting.
