71 years later. Those poor democrats are 100% of the government of Baltimore City, and the city is in its worst state of being EVER! A thinking person would have to conclude that their beliefs on governance, and policy just DO NOT WORK. Still they continue to swear that it works, but the white mans government won’t let them succeed. Remember, 100% of the government of Baltimore are Black democrats. They have all the say in the entire city of Baltimore, and still it decays with vice, and misery. Wake up and realize that this socialist system DOESN’T WORK!

There is no mention of redlining, where state and local governments, banks, realtors and slumlords conspired to create just this types of existence. Then they show up like they're clueless. If it wasn't so sad, it would be funny. Slum clearance and urban renewal (Negro Removal as described by James Baldwin) efforts displaced tens of thousands of Baltimoreans and leaving others ass-out and homeless.

I hate the US propaganda voice. You can hear it from the beginning, both Partys are lying and screw the facts. War is always a crime, i totally agree but don't forget why the Germans did what they did...no excuse but a reminder..He who saws the wind will reap the storm and the wind was sawn by the Crime of Versaille. Can anyone agree on that?💔❣️

Wonder how pleased those Germans who resented our involvement would be if they could see the US on the brink of social and economic collapse, all of which have been brought about from within. They would probably get a good laugh if they could see the $35T deficit, record inflation, mass illegal immigration and BLM riots every so often. The USA as it was known ceased to exist. The worst is yet to come.

Typical America. 350 years of lies. Some facts. There were enough food supplies to last the Germans for three years. The Americans were the worst. They confiscated all the food in their zone and introduced starvation rations. Thís is why the the black market was so virulent. People were forced to sell everything, including their bodies, to stay alive. Nevertheless millions starved, especially the old and babies. Disease killed off those who didn't die of hunger. The Yanks hated imperialism? This film shows them behaving like the British in India. And introducing their rotten culture and their hollow democracy to Europeans. No thanks, chum, you can stuff your gum! And your murdering Morgenthau plan!

The big powers knew that Germany was the anchor for Europe. Even with the destruction they knew that they had to give everything that was needed for this rebuilding of major infrastructure. The skeleton had to be rebuilt before it could carry the loads in the new Germany . First the clearance and where to put it. it became the foundations of new cities on old ground. Nothing is ever wasted everything in its place. The other reason for a quick rebuild, the commies were next door and growing. The were also on home ground if war broke out between them.✌️☘️.n

IMO, trying to police "black markets" is idiocy. It's capitalism at its most rudimentary. Unless the black market is supplied by stolen goods, what's sold there, unless illegal substances or other illegal services, is no one's business. Oh, and just a bit of our own propaganda there at the end, too, right? Though, given the crimes of the Nazi regime and the feelings of the times, understandable.

Without the Marshall Plan, Europe would still be in rubble. The Russians had become the enemy, the Iron Curtain was real, and Europe had no way to recover. The Marshall plan, unique in that it forced the rest of Europe to accept Germany as a partner, provided the money to power the recovery that would eventually result in European countries rejecting communism. The story of the Marshall Plan, and the people who inspired and ran it, is unique in all of modern history. But, most of all, it is the story of American generosity, in the face of both a new and old enemy.

USSR was a guarantee for the existence of a large middle class and democracy in the West. Maintaining the shining and beckoning Western Social Window Dressing at a high level to lure Soviet people and destroy the USSR was an expensive luxury for Fat Cats (transnational corporations). But it isn't needed anymore after the competitor has disappeared. Western middle class will be gradually destroyed, and this process is already under way. The games in democracy, equal rights and opportunities were end after the break-up of USSR 30 years ago.

@@sergiy01 there is one basic human feeling that has probably existed since we lived in caves. Human beings want to be free. Communism is a failed system that takes away individual freedom on a massive scale. Capitalism and all its many negatives is far, far from perfect. But, when you look at the world now, people who yearn for freedom are not clamoring to get into Communist China, Communist Russia, run by the oligarchs, or Communist Cuba, not to mention Communist North Korea, the epitome of a failed Communist state, where hundreds of thousands have starved to death. In fact, some time ago, Cubans were willing to take their lives in their hands and try to escape Cuba on flimsy boats they hoped would take them to America. People are willing to take their lives in their hands to escape Communism, and the fact that people in communist countries are kept there by force should tell you something. The Western middle class is expanding, not deteriorating. In fact, communist China’s middle class has been burgeoning for decades, and there are billions of them. This was China’s answer to trying to exist with a communist state.

I grew up in the American zone, there were many GIs in my home town and as a kid and teenager in the 70s/80s I never had the impression they weren't anything but welcome. My grandfather, a WW2 veteran (German navy) talked a lot about the war but I never heard hin say anything negativ about Americans (and they also weren't al angels - drove a tank into my grandma's vegetable garden...). Russians - different story. I had my very first burger at a German-American "Volksfest" at the army base. They really got me with that. So easy: behave, show respect for your "host" country and invest 1$ into a burger. Now I am living in a German-American family, in the US and Europe.
