Love this video! And one of my favorite parts is the purely creative one! I would love to see a video just on that one! For each of the techniques! Another thing that I might add in one of these for me is practicing writing quotes in different fonts or different words in a variety of different languages, etc. very inspiring

I have been watching planning videos for about 5 years and have seen them all but it wasn't until discovering your channel that I started to consider hobonichi. I took the plunge and got a weeks and love it! "Small but mighty" is incredibly true! Thank you for the inspiration! I love your channel! P.S. there is nothing like smelling a book. I couldn’t agree more with everything you said in this video! I consistently use 4 different planners - functionally AND decoratively - and recently added a Sterling Ink 5 year A5 diary and I love it! The more places I can use all the stickers the better 😂 I know a lot of people don’t get it and I’m okay with that 😂 I’m trying to get better at ‘just using the sticker’ and this video helped me along a little more, so thank you! This is what I needed. I have stickers and PET tape I love to use, but some of my planners are smaller so I cannot use a lot of deco in those because there isn’t a lot of space, so I like the idea of a planner/notebook that I can just deco up.

Loved your video. I have 7 planners. Hobo Cousin, Hobo weeks, 2 Hobo Originals (A6), Sterling ink N1 full size Common Planner (369 pages), Sterling Ink passport size Common Planner, and a Sterling Ink undated daily planner. Believe it or not, I use most of them every day. I don’t have a planner/journal just to put stickers in and be creative, though! A nice excuse to buy a new notebook!

I really got into your videos and then noticed a consistent complaining of teachers. I really wish you would not complain so much about them honestly. Just to clarify teachers do not get paid for the months of summer, the state spreads our pay out so we do not go unpaid. So we are on "break" and we are relaxing but most of us are still doing unpaid professional developments and working on lessons for the upcoming year. Maybe complain less and not hate teachers so much in these videos.

Cute!! I’m glad I’m not the only one thinking about 2025 planners! I wait til planners go on sale in July of the year and then I buy it to test it out for the last half of the year before buying my a brand new one for the next year!

I had the same problem with wondering whether to buy an N1 Common Planner or not half way through the year. I decided to wait in the end. I really didn't want to end up wasting the journals I already had. I'm confident enough in what I want for next year to wait. I already have so many unfinished notebooks and the guilt would have eaten at me.

I draw out the layout to size in a spare notebook then decorate it and use it for a week to see how I feel about it before I decide to buy. Might save you some unnecessary purchases.

Um yes! Get the N2 horizontal and try that out for us😁 I would love to see how it compares and how stickers fit proportionally.

I have only just gotten back into paper planners this year, and I started with the intention of buying a planner and using it for a year. After three other planners that didn't work for me, I'm using the Common Planner A5 Academic Year. It helps that I work in higher ed so I don't have to change planners in what is my mid-year. I keep thinking I should have looked to see if anyone was selling a partially used planner and trying it for a couple of months, but I didn't. I don't know if you know folks in the planner community that have tried and didn't want to continue using the planner you want to try, but maybe they would be willing to destash one to you?

I will still use an N2 or weeks size planner because of portability along with the N1 as a work planner!

You can easily put the horizontal layout in the vertical

I love your videos ans how you're using your TN. If I like the layout of another planner and thinking of buying it, I will try the layout first in my current system (just draw it in) although... I use a cut down stalogy so have the freedom to change layouts x

Be sure to have them check for a space between the vent leading from the dryer to the exterior wall. We had that when they installed our current dryer and they didn’t fill the space, my husband filled the space with steel wool ( not sure of all of the steps) solved the problem

Ugh! Keep us posted on the mouse peeps and what they have to say. I'm afraid we have the same problem. We had mice in our basement walls several years ago and got rid of them but I think they may have found their way back in our basement. Years ago it was our dog who first alerted us that they were there. This time around my current two 7 pound dogs are completely clueless to their existence. I just don't want to deal with the expense and annoyance!
