Can you show how to do a nail knot with this tool or do you prefer the surgeons knot?

I stopped today at the home of the original creator of The Adams Fly . The Mill pond is there with a park so you can fish in it. I wasn't able to . maps.app.goo.gl/9Qvhyc6Yo3CVjKhW8

From my view, the loop got larger as you pulled the standing end to finish it up.

I can't find these hooks in the smaller sizes! What would be a good substitute hook for these popers? Barbless ok but not mandatory.

You can't push on a rope - or a fly line - with ANY fly rod. A fly rod can only PULL a flyline.

I may have forgotten this or it might be the first time it's been explained so succinctly .... great short video, thank-you Simon and Rio. Love the Lumilux slick cast floating lines BTW.

Seems great till I saw you have to buy 2 of them. At that cost just a little more and I can get a rod vault.

I'm a week into my fly tying journey and I was looking to make one however the chenille I got was flimsy and not as stiff as yours. Is there different kinds of chenille?

Caddis flies are typically thicker near the tail and taper smaller towards the head.

Moose hair makes the finest Mosquito flies (for light and dark bands on the body,, which you apparently haven't tied!! I've been a Deer and Elk hunter since 1973, but I haven't analyzed Deer, Elk, and Moose hair like you seemed to have done, and with most due respect, I don't understand how your lecture is helpful to fly tiers in any Practical Sense!! Oh Caribou hair float good, but it's Very Brittle!! Hair stacker is another waste of money, as I just use my wife's old lipstick top, and it does the same thing. And Bodkin can be made with the cork top of a wine or carbonated Juice bottle, for almost nothing.
