I never ever crochet before. And i want to try new hobbies, crochet is one of i want to try. Because my nephew will born 2 months more i want makes something that could be useful in long term. Your videos is popped up. At first "oh this not gonna be for beginners". And i'm trying again and again until i could finished 1 row clusters but the shapes still bad😅. Next day i'm trying again with real count around 110 foundation chain. Now i'm on first row cluster stitch😆 I'm so happy your explanation is simple yet you repeat again and again. So i could remembering what the next steps. Thank you so much for your video!!🥰🤍 Might be my blanket not as clean and neat as yours but it's my first time soo i hope i could make it better in the future😆

Question. If I have 2 cakes of Mandela yarn. Can I continue until I finish the first cake. Then if the width is ok. Start on the 2nd cake. Will it finish the throw? What I’m asking is are you half way finished when you start on the decline? I want to know if I should get more yarn. Thank you so much for the pattern.

I love the look of this stitch. I'd like to try it, but I'm aiming to change color every few rows. Do you have a tutorial for changing colors on a C2C? I looked and may have just overlooked it. Or if anyone could explain how to, I'm an intermediate crocheter so I might understand without a video. Lol ❤

I am torturing myself with a German crochet pattern (V stitch shawl) that calls for crocheting all rows backwards. Zooming in on the pictures, your Alternative V stitch is what I think they are going for. Thanks for the video.

Hi Robin, when I make a solid granny square, I start every round in the corner chain space with 2dc, 2ch, 2dc (US terms) and end each round with the invisible join (sewn). Then I join the new colour into any corner space and off I go again. No seams in the middle of the square and it comes out nice. Is there any reason why that might be a wrong way to do it? Thanks. ❤
@HookedbyRobin
@HookedbyRobin 14 сағат бұрын
Absolutely not! That's exactly what I'd do too if changing colour each round 😃 x

@@HookedbyRobin but what about the holes? They look crooked. Maybe that's how they are supposed to be? I tried to make just a little square, from 6th row. Thank you so much for getting back to me so quickly 💝

It's me the PITA again lol, First off, just wanted to tell you I was outside finishing up on this blanket yesterday,and the neighbor's youngest daughter, she is 9 I think, came to the fence and asked what I was doing, and I showed her, her eyes light up and asked me if I could make her "baby"( her favorite doll) one for her little stroller. Needless to say I am making one as we speak lol. Anyhow, I was curious if you think this pattern would make a nice shawl? and if so, would I just keep repeating the pattern until the size I like, just never decreasing? I know you're a busy woman, and appreciate your time greatly!🥰
