Thanks for this, mate! Now just need to figure out a way to make the border transparent.

I am using openshot on Linux and the tracking effect seems to be missing for me. Anybody know why?

Awesome!

Tried to follow the instructions exactly, but though it processed for a few seconds, nothing on the active layer changed. There seems to be a dependency on the scale and / or precision of the image. I had set the precision to 32 bit floating point and scale to 300 pix/in as part of the recommended luminosity masking process for printing purposes and had a hunch that the high precision or resolution might be the problem. I downscaled to 8-bit and 72 pix/in and it worked per your tutorial. I'm unsure at this point at what precision / resolution the tool actually seems to fail.

i want to use a png image but when i add it, the clip shows it with black background and it covers the face i want to put the png on

I want to have the tracked area blurred without using the awful and time-consuming crop effect solution? Any ideas? Clean tutorial, regards.

You can probably either find or make a transparent blur png and overlay it with the video somehow

This tutorial was going good untill that child clip ID bullshit…. What do you even mean right click? I’ve been clicking for hours and nothing pops up lol. Typed in the box my images title and still nothing. This tutorial makes no sense
@bosselotiscanon10 ай бұрын
you're not supposed to input the title, you're supposed to input the clip ID. click on whatever it is you're trying to overlay, go into the properties sidebar, and find the ID (it was under "gravity" for me but who knows you might have extra stuff) and then type that in there. it's stupid as hell that it won't automatically do it, i know, but it seemingly only autorecognizes .svg files from what i can tell

hi. can you explain how to blur the rectangle after the tracker done? thanks
@moo_HU Жыл бұрын
Import a rectangle (grey png, or jpg), then make it to tracking child as in this video. After add blur to that rectangle.

Sorry to be a bother, I really appreciate this tutorial and I have managed to do it before somehow, but every time I look for the ChildID, it just doesn't show my image ID I added. I can't copy the ID from the image because it doesn't allow cursor highlighting either. Help would be super appreciated!

my solution to this was to just type it in manually tbh

I have watched KZfaq videos of guys walking around Tokyo and other Japanese cities as well as others in Seoul career. Both have much more overhead power lines, poles, etc. for which powerline removal is a start. Erase works fairly well on the rest.
@jochsmat92592 жыл бұрын
It's a start. But it'd be nice if we had some manual control over it, for example, with automatic masking you can adjust mask by erasing or adding to it manually, if powerline removal can show as powerline masks so we can refine them. If remove powerlines had manual control, we don't really need to use erase after it.

I followed the steps but the image I added is invisible?
@jochsmat92592 жыл бұрын
How do you mean?
@jochsmat92592 жыл бұрын
I'd guess it is too small to be visible, you may need to resize the tracker region.
@lkdn2 жыл бұрын
@@jochsmat9259 I fixed the invisibility just by starting over but thank you. Now I only want the image up to a certain point in the video but when it gets to the point, the video becomes black until the end. How do I prevent this?
@jochsmat92592 жыл бұрын
@@lkdn maybe you can split the video into 2 parts, one part is for the image with the tracker effect, another part has no effects goes till the end.
