Thank you for the video. It was very interesting. I'm searching for information related to horses because I need to explain things related to it in English and Spanish. It's really challenging and new for me. Let's see what I can learn 😅🙏🏻🐴🐎

Haha - You are right Betty. They are always sleeping during the day, except for when they are fighting, mating, and drinking and flapping their wings due to the heat as shown in the video. They are a bit like koalas in this way. Thank you for your support and for making me laugh. :)

Great photo of a wallaby feeding I live in the middle of Sydney and we have swamp wallabies in our area, There is a bush reserve across the road from my house. Ive wondered what they eat, as I often get a wallaby in my front garden late at night. They seem to seek out certain plants, including succulent flowering plants. Good to see native animals doing well.

Thanks Kim, You are correct (very observant) as this is a Leicester Longwool ewe that was used to act as a surrogate mother for two of the lambs in the video. They also produce adorable lambs and I filmed a newborn which I will post if I can ever find the time to edit more video. I love filming, but I am not a big fan of editing. Thank you and keep making your wonderful videos. Cheers Matt

Thanks so much Anh. Yes, they are adorable. These little ones might end up at the Red Hill show but that is not until next march. There are many agricultural shows around Melbourne during spring, so you could find some there. You could google some of the breeders, but they might think you want to buy one if you contact them. I hope you can get to meet a lamb this spring and there are cerainly plent around at the moment. Much appreciated. Matt

I have seen big males with chewed up ears from fighting and but this guys ears do look suspicious to me and I hope he lives a long and healthy life.
@mattsenglish195610 ай бұрын
Thanks Ross, Yes, normally the ears are split or there is a chunk missing. Unfortuantely, this looks like they have been removed as the cuts are too even. There is a chance that they were removed by a vet due to disease, burns, or trauma at some stage. He is still going strong, but he certainly caught my attention. Cheers and thanks for inspiring me to set up the trail camera again due to some of the amazing footage that you have been showing on your channel.

@mattsenglish195611 ай бұрын
Thanks very much Cheralyn! This was at the Phillip Island Koala Park in Victoria. Most of the time the koalas are higher up in the trees - even at the park. However, I have been lucky on more than a few occassions and you can get very close to them. They are super cute and I am very much looking forward to September as they - along with many other Australian native animals - will start to become much more active. Unfortuantley, my memory card in my camera was full recently just as I started to film a koala jump from a higher branch to a lower branch. He easily travelled 8 - 10 feet in the air. I have seen them jump many times but never like this. Thank you very much for the comment and I will be adding more koala videos as the spring approaches. Best regards. Matt

Hey Matt, my own cameras have been recording Sambar deer for a few months and fallow deer is a species I'd love to see on my own videos. And great footage of them and especially of that stag managing to get through that fence the way he did.
@mattsenglish195611 ай бұрын
Hi Ross, My apologies for the very late reply, but I was away for a few weeks. Yes, the fallow deer are stunning and I am sure you can get them if you go east into the Dandenong Ranges. I am nervous about leaving my trail cam out at night though as people do steal them. I can see we have a similar focus, and I have quickly watched a few of your videos already. I will subscribe and see if I can help support you with views, etc. Keep up the good work and thanks very much for your comment. Best regards. Matt
