Great review! But, for me, not a great game. I did not find any part of it compelling and that is not a good sign for the first play. Second play did not change that. Third play confirmed it. Ordinary is how I would sum it up. Honestly, I enjoyed your review of Apiary more than I enjoyed playing it (your reviews are always good).

I'd prefer some close-up action so we can be included in what the heck you're talking about. Also, if you're going to make reviews of dice games, please get used to the singular "die" and plural "dice".

Thanks for the review. How many plays did you guys give this? If felt the interpretation of the entrance did not do it justice. Switching your entrance is a huge deal that you prepare for. It allows to optimize your first routes, and deplete your tiles, and to prepare for other optimized routes in the second part of the game. The game requires a lot of thinking ahead which I really liked.
